Dr. Miguel R. Grillo Received his Doctore in dentistry in the Dominican Republic, later graduated from New York University in 1989 where he received a Doctorate in Dental Surgery and has been in practice for over 20 years.
Dr. Grillo also has a Mastership with the American Dental Implant Association and a Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantology. After several years of working in New York City, he migrated to Florida and opened his private practice in Wellington in 2006.
Dr. Grillo enjoys performing cosmetic dentistry and restorative dentistry, and he attends many continuing education classes to enhance his skills and keep on top of the latest innovations in dentistry. Dr. Grillo is a member of several prestigious dental organizations including American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and American Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Grillo volunteers at Caridad Center where he provides free dental care to uninsured patrons.
Dr. Grillo is the proud father of four boys and lives with his wife of 30 years in Wellington. Dr. Grillo takes pride in his family, accomplishments and practice and strives to provide the best possible care to his patients, treating everyone with respect and compassion.

Scheduled an appointment via their website, got a call a week later requesting that I reschedule as the doctor was going on vacation. I get it -- everyone deserves some time off, so I acceptedly agreed to something at a later date. Well, I got another call the week of the new appointment to have that re-scheduled as well to another date, though this time didn't get a reason. I mentioned my frustration and requested that they honored the agreed upon date as I had to move things in my calendar around due to the prior re-scheduling. In the end, I had to still re-schedule. The morning of my re-re-scheduled appointment, I received a voicemail asking me to come in early. I called back 3 times and got their answering service each time. As it was still early, I decided to drive there since I couldn't reach anyone on the phone. Out of curiosity, I called while in the parking lot and watched as the two women behind the front desk were chatting. Again, I got the answering service. I walked in stating I was there for my appointment, I was told that I was very early at which I responded stating I got a voicemail asking me to come in earlier. The woman quickly said I should have called as my early opening was given to someone else. I responded stated that I'd called multiple times and got the answering service multiple times. I'm not at all sure who's scheduling or answering calls during business hours, but they need a refresher course or someone more experienced needs to take over. A lot more happened, but for the sake of the review, I'll digress and simply take my family's business elsewhere. It's a task scheduling time off work as it is, dealing with a company that moves scheduled appointments around just adds unnecessary annoyances.

Been going to Dr Grillo for years ! He is not only a super cool guy , but an awesome dentist as well ! His expertise prevented me from getting root canal's twice ! His office is always extremely clean , and his staff is fantastic ! Shilpa is the best hygienist! She is extremely thorough but always gentle! Letty is Dr. G's assistant and she is so sweet and great at what she does ! Wendy and Mariela always take such great care of everyone at the front desk ...I highly recommend Healthy Smiles, Dr Grillo and his staff for All your dental needs !! Rich G

After many dentists could not see me same day, I googled Dr. Grillo who was very close to my home. I walked in with excruciating pain and had a root canal within the hour. It was my first and I was nervous, however the staff and Dr. Grillo explained every step along the way. It was near painless! I have much more work to do and after my great experience have no problem trusting my health and my money in their hands. Thank you for giving me a great experience and making me feel like returning to the dentist which I dread. Definitely Recommend.

Healthy Smiles is an amazing dental office. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and Dr. Grillo is the best. He is great at explaining to patients what is going on and you can tell he really enjoys his job. In regards to COVID-19 they are taking safety measures and you can truly feel safe going in. Definitely recommend Dr. Grillo and this office.
