Dr. Figueredo, completed dental school and obtained her degree in Dental Medicine Doctor with Cum Laude Honors in School of Dentistry Puerto Rico, one of the most recognized and competitive Schools in the US. She chose to reside in the the State of Florida in 2004 to start her practice and raise her family.
Dr. Figueredo completed an extensive Seminar from the Academy of General Dentistry inSmile Designin December 2007. Obtained herFellowshipfrom American Dental Implant Association as a reward for her Expertise and Experiencein Implant Dentistry. She has assisted plenty of courses and seminars in Periodontal Prosthesis, Bone Regeneration Process, Techniques and Materials; Comprehensive Oral Rehabilitation and Soft Tissue Aesthetics.
For the last years Dr Figueredo has dedicated her studies to Orthodontics; completing a very extensive and comprenhensive Seminar inOrthodonticswith emphasis in phase I and II, airway obstruction and its link to malocclussion, orthotic treatments to improve patient profile, mastication, smile and quality of life; and conventional orthodontics to correct croocked teeth and malocclussions in children and adults.
Dr. Figueredo is an active member of several outstanding associations such as American Dental Association, American Dental Implant Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and International Association for Orthodontics.

The WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever gone through in a dentist. The doctor saw me for only 2 minutes she DIDN'T EVEN CHECK MY TEETH. Just told me i had to come back when they get notified by my insurance if they can cover the cost. OK, fine I had to call them to ask if they've received the results. Nothing..ANOTHER 2 weeks passed and STILL NOTHING(again I HAD TO CALL THEM). i asked to talk to the doctor and they said she was going to call back,but NEVER DID.,so i went to a much better place which is LOOP DENTAL HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Don't count on this place following up on you.,If i could put negative star, I would.

I came in with a pre-existing orthodontic retainer from some braces I had over 10 years ago and they helped me adjust and remove it. I had issues with my gums and teeth because I couldn't clean them well, almost leading me to gingivitis. They were able to do a deep cleaning and my teeth went back to normal in a matter of days! Wow! I'm impressed by their work and the doctors knowledge. I would highly recommend them for any orthodontic or dental work.

I had been to a previous dentist to quote a regular cleaning and "invisalign" options, but I wanted a second opinion. Luckily my wife found Healthy Smile where I met Dr. Maria Figueredo. Not only was a thorough cleaning, she gave me better options for my needs, The facilities were all new, But What surprise me the most was; Everything was at a better cost. Thanks

Love Dr. Figueredo! I absolutely hate everything about the dentist but she always make the visit less painful. She is very upfront and honest and doesn't recommend things just for money. She takes the time to explain everything to you so that you understand what is going on and what is to be expected. Her staff is by far one of the most professional staff, I've come across. Everyone has their duties and performs with exceptional diligence! This is my first time at this location as I usually frequent her Hialeah office. I tried going to another dentist and it was the worse decision ever. I will continue to come back here!
