HealthPartners, an integrated health care organization providing health care services and health plan financing and administration, was founded in 1957 as a cooperative. It's the largest consumer governed nonprofit health care organization in the nation serving more than 1.8 million medical and dental health plan members nationwide. Our care system includes a multi-specialty group practice of more than 1,800 physicians that serves more than 1.2 million patients. HealthPartners employs over 26,000 people, all working together to deliver the HealthPartners mission.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. HealthPartners today announced the launch of Partner for Good, a campaign that celebrates the organizations 26,000 colleagues and its commitment to improving health and well-being through its unique combination of care, health plan and research.

Partnership is at the foundation of our entire organization. Its built into our name, our mission and our values, said HealthPartners president and CEO Andrea Walsh. We see it in the way all of our people and our teams work together. We see it in every interaction with our patients, members, purchasers, colleagues and community members.

Stories of HealthPartners members, patients and colleagues will be featured throughout the campaign, including one about Sandra Ishkanian, a nine-time cancer survivor who fled Lebanon with her family during a civil war and moved to Minnesota. Thanks to the treatment from her care teams and research from HealthPartners Institute, Sandra is cancer-free. And she works at HealthPartners on the sales team, helping members choose the best plan to meet their needs.

The Partner for Good campaign includes a commercial, social media, streaming radio and outdoor media. The spot highlights the organizations history and features the song Glorious by Nur-D, a popular Twin Cities hip-hop artist.

Pregnant patients should feel empowered to have a birth experience that reflects their culture and values. Regions Hospital Family Birth Center was created with that focus as a place for family-centered care, high reliability and health equity.

LeeAnn Hubbard, MD, the birth centers medical director, discusses how health equity is the foundation of the facility, its importance in the delivery experience, and the partnership between providers and families.

Everyone can actively work to develop greater intercultural competence. The Intercultural Development Continuum provides a roadmap for individuals, teams and organizations who wish to improve on their ability to understand and adapt to the diversity around them and become more fully inclusive.

Sidney Van Dyke, the director of health equity and language access at Regions Hospital, discusses the five mindsets along the Intercultural Development Continuum and shares practical examples to bring it to life.

Kari Haley, MD, is an emergency medicine doctor at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. Shes also an assistant medical director for Regions EMS. A strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, Dr. Haley believes better health care for everyone is only possible when all patients see themselves represented, heard and affirmed.

My daughter had 2 years of treatment to correct an over bite and crowding. Very convenient location for kids going to Jackson Middle School. Love Terrie at the front desk and all the technicians! Super friendly and good at getting the gear in and out. We had one issue with Dr Harrington where we disagreed with a course of treatment but he was open to hearing us out and modified per our wishes. (We we're against pulling any teeth). Be sure to communicate your wishes and ask questions. My daughter loves how her teeth look and we are very satisfied! Note the staff rotate between the three rivers clinics offices and are only at this location on rotating days. We never had a problem scheduling appointments.
