I have been going here for years. I never have had an issue at all. Every time I call, the receptionist is kind and professional. The dentist I see is amazing as is the hygienist/assistant. They both are professional, thorough and explain things to you as they go. They treat you with respect and courtesy as if you are family. I will never go to another dentist.

Excellent dental staff. Empathetic, caring and informative. Sometimes the office scheduling staff can be less than pleasant- it comes from a good place of them wanting to make sure you understand process, but it can come across as condescending as someone noted. HP needs get with the program to offer more in-network options. Once you're in the HMO system you're trapped and if you want to continue seeing your doctors and dentists - regardless of carrier, they act like you don't exist and cut your records access.

I love HP Dental since I started being seen there a couple years ago, my husband has also had good experiences there. However, my 4 yo son was seen for a cleaning, that went great, but, he had 4 cavities & they are making me bring him to the pediatric dentist. Plymouth no longer has a peds dentist so that means having to go to Brooklyn Center!!!! Plus, they gorce you to have consult in person before doing the dental work!!!! During a pandemic!!!! My son loves the dentist, no behavior issues at all & has had fillings & a pulpectomy before for an abscessed tooth at a general dentist before without issue!!! This is unnecessary!!!! The whole point of us changing dentists was to have a dentist closer to home. Plus, delaying his treatment could result in another abscesse!!!! Very disappointed

Some people have mental health issues and you never know someone's past, but they seem to forget this. Condescending behavior has lead to my gf switching dentist.

Dr. Hood & her assistant did a fantastic job with my son. I was very impressed how they put him at ease & talked him through the procedure.

I made 3 appointments within 8 months and saw two different dentists (Amundson and Black) when I had issues with a molar. They failed to diagnose the problem and I finally went to another biological dentist who diagnosed a crack on the upper surface of my tooth. It was too late at that point and I had an infection in the root and had to have the tooth pulled. I was very, very disappointed!

Very impressed by the work they do here, I've had a couple fillings done and they all turned out great ! Cleanings go fast and easy, everyone knows exactly what they're doing, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Went to see dr Amundsen for a couple cavities.... the right side of my mouth hurts worse and is less usable than it was before going in! I have so much sensitivity even months after and I also think he did not fill one cavity properly which is causing me so much pain currently!! On top of that I missed a cleaning appt and a week later I got a letter stating I was not allowed to schedule any more apots there.... convenient for them to get out of fixing their mistakes!!
