Karen Thell called me to tell me I missed my appointment. In my "after summary report" she wrote that I hung up on her an I in fact did not she was rude to me as the call started hung up on me after I said" I waited 6 months " my full sentence was going to ask if they were backed up 6 months still. So she is rude and a liar

I had an appointment for a routine cleaning. X-Rays taken and reviewed by a hygienist. I was told I would need to come back for more extensive work and would have to reschedule. Never spoke to a dentist for an explanation. Next available appointment was more than 2 months out. I would think that with that kind of evaluation of radiographs I could have at least met with a dentist for a full explanation and plan. I question whether there was any intention of a cleaning that day. The person who took the X-Rays appeared totally unprepared to do anything but take X-Rays. I question if there was a dentist in the building at all.

I've been going to Heath Partners Dental in Apple Valley for a handful of years now. They always do a wonderful job at cleaning and they provide great care.

If I could give less than one star I would! I will start by saying that I felt like my concerns weren't taken seriously and I was basically dismissed. All of the staff are not on the same page and I was turned away. I don't think I will ever go back here for many reasons. The main reason is that I spoke with a worker a week before my scheduled visit for my root cleaning to ensure the billing was covered, and I was told that my employer insurance as well as my MA insurance would cover my next two appointments. I go to my appointment and arrive on time! I was told that I have to pay. I said no, I was told that my two insurances were updated in their system and no longer have to pay. The worker spoke with the billing manager or whoever and was told I do have to pay. I continued to explain the situation and apologized to the worker if I was rude to her in anyway as this was frustrating to me that I was told one thing and then told something different face to face. If I had known that I was in fact expected to pay upfront then I would have been prepared but I was told otherwise. Anyway, the billing person felt bad and wanted me to be taken care of and told me to just go to the back to be seen for my root cleaning. I then made it to the back and she checked my bp which was elevated and I explained the reason being high was due to my frustrations I experienced at the front desk with billing issues and staff not telling me true facts. She basically explained that I will have to pay when she finishes cleaning my teeth and asked if I wanted to proceed. So once again, I'm bothered that I am being dismissed in this manner. She walked me out and no services were done for me and keep in mind that I waited weeks to even have this appointment. I really wish things were handled better and it's sad.

Condescending, dismissive & incompetent providers. Talked to dentist on phone about coming in for a specific tooth that she already knew bothered me. She fit me in, then proceeded to work on a DIFFERENT tooth next to the one that was bothering me. After she drilled it, she told me that she thought my pain was probably coming from that one, so did tooth she chose WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Before I left she said if the one I came in for still bothered me to call back. COMPLETELY UNETHICAL & DISRESPECTFUL. When numbness wore off I was in so much pain I had to call the nurse for advice. Reported her to manager, who sent me to their other dentist. This 2nd dentist RELUCTANTLY worked on the original tooth that hadnt received care, & it turned out their was decay near nerve that had gone undetected by them. After they finally fixed that one, the tooth the first dentist had worked on (without permission) fractured, just from chewing gum! She had removed a huge chunk, a large mercury filling broke off with part of my tooth with it. So I had to go back for emergency treatment & now they tell me the tooth is going to need a crown. That was the result I got for a tooth that hadnt bothered me at all & that I didnt give permission for work on. Totally wrong & I'm considering further complaint about this entire saga & the unnecessary damage & pain I suffered.

I wanted to write a positive review so that people wouldn't be scared away by the low rating of this clinic. I was SO nervous for my appointment after not having been to the dentist in several years, and these reviews did not make me feel at ease. However, everything went very smoothly and I was pleasantly surprised! I was seen immediately, right on time, X-rays were taken very quickly, teeth cleaned and inspected, all very efficiently. My hygienist was thorough but gentle, and it was significantly less painful than I expected. I thought she did a fantastic job. Overall a great experience for me!

My experience has been below average. I moved, and had to switch dentists. My old dentist had much more up-to-date dental technology, and always referenced my file before I came in. This dentist couldn't even find my fillings (in 2 visits), and never referenced the concerns they brought up at the last visit. I felt like I was being rushed out the door, and they didn't want to answer my questions. I will give them props for the front desk staff. Very helpful and nice people.

I think the staff is friendly, respectful and do what they can to make everyone happy while being accurate and efficient with everyone's care which is what is most important.

Had to wait over an hour for my appointment. 3 families and come and gone before I was even taken back into a room. Highly dissatisfied.

Good experiences here with family checkups, and good referral when more specialized care was necessary.

SLOW. Every appointment seems to start 15-30 minutes late. Schedule minimun 30 days in advance to be seen for anything.
