Dr. Dan was a winner on TVs Americas Funniest People and a finalist in Colgates Search for Americas Funniest Dentist. He has also been featured on National Public Radios All Things Considered for his parody song CD Spit Happens!
Dr. Dan received his dental degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brooks School of Dental Medicine in 1983. Since that time, his firsthand experiences in the field of dentistry have equipped him with plenty of material to incorporate into his dental comedy routine, while also providing him with the insight only currently-practicing healthcare professionals have when it comes to knowing what is really funny about the field of healthcare.
Based on his own unique perspective of patient care, as well as personal experiences as a patient, Dr. Dan talks about issues and situations that face healthcare providers today and does so with candor, wit and humor that leave audiences in stitches.
