Dr. Marc DeBerardinis was born on the East Coast, and has been living and practicing in Northern California for over 14 years. He and his wife, Leah, a dentist and Sonoma county native, enjoy the area for all it has to offer. Dr. D and his wife have two young daughters, and feel fortunate to be raising them in such a magnificent place.
Dr. D. graduated Summa Cum Laude from Temple University School of Dentistry in Pennsylvania, where he received his dental degree in 1996. He then went on to earn his Masters degree and Orthodontic certificate at the University of Oklahoma in 1998. In addition to practicing orthodontics in Healdsburg and Petaluma, Dr. D. was also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthodontics at UCSF School of Dentistry prior to starting a family. His involvement in academics allows first-hand exposure to the latest clinical research and techniques. As an attending faculty member, Dr. D. supervised the treatment of orthodontic patients by the residents, and helped them along their path in becoming future orthodontists.
Juliann takes great care in educating our new patients regarding their treatment plans, insurance and payment options. She brings over 20 years of orthodontic experience to our office and enjoys working with all our referring dental offices. She is driven to see that we connect with our small communities near and far to assist adults and children with their orthodontic needs. Juliann is committed to seeing that the wonderful people in our communities receive exceptional orthodontic care!
Monica was born and raised in Healdsburg and loves giving back to her community. Her warm and caring attitude is the first thing patients notice. She truly enjoys working in the orthodontic field and seeing new smiles every day. When she is not working, she is off running to soccer with her kids or on a road trip with her family.
dentistry became her passion and after fourteen years in general dentistry, she made the switch to Orthodontics and has remained there ever since. Working almost exclusively in Healdsburg, she is now helping the second generation of her original patients to achieve a beautiful smile and have fun along the way. When shes not at work you can nd her in her in her garden or behind the stove cooking up a storm!

I recently just finished my Invisalign treatment plan and am overjoyed with my new mouth! The staff is very friendly. We know them by name and they know us by name. The office runs very efficiently and they are all very professional! Excellent experience all around for me. Thank you Dr D!!

I've been a patient at Healdsburg Orthodontics since I began researching Invisalign and then throughout my 1 - 1-1/2 year journey to straighten my severely crooked teeth, and I couldn't be happier. Everyone on staff has been kind, patient, helpful, knowledgeable, gentle, and they take the time to explain everything and answer questions. They were also extremely helpful in dealing with my dental insurance and very accommodating when drafting payment options that could be feasible so that at the crucial time when I HAD to begin this orthodontic journey, I was finally able to make it happen. I've had extremely crooked teeth since childhood and experienced many awful dental care disasters. Choosing Healdsburg Orthodontics was the best choice! And now, I have beautiful, straight teeth - I'm ecstatic!!! It was always such a pleasure to go for in my appointments, EVERYONE was always welcoming and flashing genuine smiles. I HIGHLY recommend Healdsburg Orthodontics!

I don't frequently write reviews, but I feel compelled to honestly review this office due to the excellent experience I have had with them - I mean, I would shout it from the rooftops, tell all my friends, wear a T Shirt, and join the proverbial band - you name it. From start to finish, my experience with Healdsburg Orthodontics and Dr. D and his staff has been awesome, easy, and professional. I had braces for six years between middle and high school (for more than cosmetic reasons), but in recent years I suffered from my bite being totally out of whack from grinding my teeth in times of stress and while experiencing my migraines. The consultation was informative, the pricing was reasonable (and they worked with my insurance), and they really took the time to discuss what my 12-month treatment would look like. When I had a minor concern, Dr. D was available for an appointment within the day (a far cry from previous Orthodontics experiences for me personally!). Lo and behold, I am finished with Invisalign treatment after just about 11 months. Compared to my six years of braces, my entire Invisalign treatment at Healdsburg Orthodontics was basically painless, totally straightforward, and I was seeing real results in real time (which was so motivating). I also loved how great Invisalign was for my lifestyle, as I work in law and it makes it easier to discuss with clients and staff when there isn't the added distraction (from a personal perspective). Dr. D's high level of expertise and standard of excellence was palpable throughout every stage of my orthodontic treatment, and I had no question that I would be (and was) in great hands. Following the conclusion of my treatment, I was even sent home with a gift bag with a lovely Sonoma County brut! It was a classy and heartfelt gesture - and just a slice of how kind, knowledgeable, and well this office is run, and how they really understand their clientele and enhance small details of the client experience. If you're on the fence about orthodontic treatment in Sonoma County, you will not regret at least having a consultation with Healdsburg Orthodontics - their consultations are free, and the service and experience are superlative. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. D and his whole staff. I was a long time patient with a difficult case, my teeth were straight but I couldn't bite my teeth together. I had braces as a child but had a growth spurt and a deformity in my jaw bones I believe. Dr. D was able to perfect my bite without surgery. I also had a lot of jaw pain and cracking and now it's minimal which is a bonus. I am able to eat sandwiches for the first time properly in my 36 years! My teeth look so beautiful and amazing! You won't be disappointed with Healdsburg Orthodontics.

Dr. D worked closely with my surgeon to guarantee the best results. I am forever grateful for the smile they helped me to achieve! They really changed my life. I decided to get braces at the age of 48. My bite was misaligned and several of my teeth were crooked and becoming more so, and it had all started to cause other issues. I was hesitant at first because of my age, but Dr. D and his team (especially Kathy, Monica, and Michelle) made me so comfortable with the process from day one. I got my braces off yesterday and I am so happy with the results! You will not be disappointed if you choose this team for your orthodontic needs. They will work with you and make you feel at home. Also the facilities are always sparkling clean and welcoming. I'll miss them! Though I won't miss my braces. :) Very glad I chose them.

I had such and incredible experience with Dr. D & the staff as well, Dr. D has transformed my smile and no words can truly describe how thankful I am for braces.
