Dr. Lam attended the University of Texas in Austin and graduated with a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. After working for seven years as a design engineer, Dr. Lam decided to return to school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston to study dentistry and pursue his passion for helping people. He continues to utilize his engineering background in his daily practice by engineering principles and technology.Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lam enjoys working on cars, staying active, traveling, being active at his church, and spending time with his wife and son.
Mandy began her dental career in 2002. After graduating from Dental Assisting School, she was accepted into Dental Hygiene School and received her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio in 2002.
Mandy has practiced full time as a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2002. She has a true passion and commitment to serve others in her community and is passionate about helping her patients stay healthy by educating them on the connection between their oral health and overall systemic health.
Jackie has been in the dental field for more than 22 years. Dentistry is her passion; she loves creating new smiles.She is overjoyed to be a part of HDentaL where she along with Dr. Lam and his wonderful and highly skilled team can create new smiles for years to come.Her hobbies include being a mom and a grandmother of two. She loves her family along with her 4 furry rescue kids and when she is not spending quality time together with them, she is teaching her love of dental to new and upcoming dental assistants.
Our dental assistant Kate was born and raised in Cypress, Texas.She graduated from Cypress Dental Assisting school.Since she was a little girl she knew she wanted to be in a career in the dental field.
Kate enjoys meeting new people and seeing them smile. Outside of work, Kate loves being outdoors, cooking, crafts and spending time with family and friends. Kate is so excited to be a part of the HDentaL team and getting to know the patients.
Our dental assistant Crystal is originally from Mississippi and moved to Cypress in 2018. She graduated from Cypress Dental Assisting School. She enjoys creating new smiles with Dr.Lam. She and her husband have one beautiful little girl who is their greatest blessing.

Let's see, if I was 19 when I got pregnant, and my kid was pregnant at 20, then I could be my son's grandmother. Practice all the Christian doctrine you have on the walls and assume I was 41 when I had the kid. And certainly don't call me his grandmother and explain it away by saying that you've never seen me before. Indeed. And I hope to never see you again.

I myself have been working in the Dental industry for some time and was with a large Dental corporation recently all over West/East Coast and Korea. I do my research as much as I can and very thoroughly when looking for any kind of service. I can say you can put your trust in Dr. Huy Lam's hands. His practice is small and private like many common ones but the plus side of this versus large corporations is the scheduled time dedicated to each patient. He himself is a character/Dentist who is also aware by making it happen. Large corporations; where I cannot speak for all tend to get a bit greedy on production and too focused on sales to keep up with overhead cost along with disorganized management. From the get-go to the end of treatment here at Dr.Lam's, everything was coordinated nicely and orderly where I didn't feel rushed, stressed as many patients had experienced with other practices. Everything was explained very clearly to me and the level of care is superior at Dr. Huy Lam's practice. I was often asked if everything was okay and cared for every step of the way. My personal take based on previous experiences both in the Medical/Dental, as long as a business doesn't get too greedy and focus on the quality care and people, they will succeed. At Dr. Lam's, he's adhering to this standard of practice of quality care over sales/production and that is how a business should be in the healthcare industry. Which is something rare to find these days. I hope you will experience what I experienced in the coming years and make Dr. Lam's practice a place for your whole family to get dental care for life.

The HDental staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. As soon as I arrived, there was no wait as the dental assistant set me up and got everything ready right away. Dr Lam was very thorough with my teeth cleaning and was very quick to access all my questions & concerns. They did a great teeth cleaning and took the time to let me know many things about my teeth; what all I need to watch and which teeth needed to be fixed, etc. I am very glad I switched to HDental and can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!!

I don't usually put reviews but WOW! The experience I have had here at H Dental is by far the best. Dr. Lam and his team made me feel very welcomed and answered every question I had. I came in for a regular cleaning and left with more knowledge about my teeth then I could have imagined. If you are looking for a new dentist, look no more this is the place you need to be. They will take great care of you I promise.

This was BY FAR the BEST dental experience I've ever had. I do not like going to the dentist. But Dr. Lam was kind, gentle, very attentive and genuinely cared about me as a person. His staff too!!....they are great, helpful with insurance questions, and very friendly. HIGHLY recommend this dentist. Will be referring others to him!! Only wish I would have found him sooner.

Dr. Huy is the best dentist! His staff is super friendly and they make you feel comfortable right away! It was super easy to make an appointment! Dr. Huy is very professional and he provides a detailed explanation of the procedure. I knew I was in good hands! The BEST dental experience I've ever had!! Dr. Lam was patient and kindly explained to me what his findings were after thorough evaluation of my x-rays. He was VERY gentle with giving injections before proceeding to fix my cavities (which has always been a fear of mine in the past with other dentists). He waited until I was fully numb before he moved forward, and he made me feel very comfortable to speak up whenever I needed something. He would pause to check in with me throughout my fillings to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. I have found my FOREVER dentist, and I couldn't be happier with the beautiful work that he has done with my teeth.

This was my first time here and I was blown away by the care that they show for their patients. I have had a few issues that I needed help with and he addressed all of them and presented me with the solution options. I was really looking for a dentist who would actually listen to me and address my concerns with my smile and Dr. Lam did just that! The staff was also professional, kind and knowledgeable. I'm so glad to have found my new dentist and I would 100% recommend HDental and Dr. Lam!
