Dr. Vakharia earned her dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1993. Following a residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she joined an established dental practice and served as associate for over four years.
With a commitment to delivering the most advanced care with a womans touch, Dr. Vakharia established her own practice in 1998. Dedicated to staying current and proficient with leading edge dentistry, she participates in continuing education courses each year. She has completed extensive advanced education in aesthetic dentistry and neuromuscular occlusion from the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and CEREC training courses.
Dr. Vakharia is Board Certified by the State of South Carolina. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Greenville Dental Free Clinic, Greenville County Dental Society and many study clubs.
Dr. Vakharia and her husband, Patrick, are the parents of three beautiful children. Her time out of the office is filled with volunteering at her childrens schools and activities, traveling, running, and most recently competing in triathlons.

Dr. Vakharia is an excellent dentist. I have been going to her for at least 15 years. The staff is very nice, the office is spotless and Dr. Vakharia has a gentle hand. I have never left her office feeling uncomfortable. I highly recommend Haywood Smile Designs.

"Professional, skilled, organized and friendly" was my first assessment for this practice, And then I tried to get seen for a denture adjustment to alleviate pain. "We're booked this week and the doctor is out of town all next week. We can see you the following week". In one phone call they have gone from professional, organized & friendly to what felt like they were saying, 'We don't care about your pain. We can see you in about 10 days." So now I wouldn't go back here if it were the only dental practice in Greenville County. But, hey, you do what makes sense to you.
