He received his dental degree from the University Of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2002. As a Pittsburgh native, he grew up in McCandless and graduated from North Allegheny High School. He is an Alumnus of Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. After graduating dental school, he took his talents to Austin, Texas for two years, where he worked as an associate dentist in private practice.
In 2004, he moved back to the Pittsburgh area and into his current practice. He has been extremely blessed with his office, patients, and staff. He truly enjoys connecting with all of his patients on an individual basis to guarantee the best care possible.
Away from the office, Dr. Hayner enjoys attending college football games all over the country. He also enjoys skiing, traveling, socializing with friends, and heading back to Austin as often as possible.
Located in the Chamber of Commerce Building in Downtown, Pittsburgh is the comfortably designed environment where you will be greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable staff. Within the office, Dr. Hayner stays current with modern dentistry in order to bring you an outstanding dental experience using only state-of-the-art tools and methodology. This is not only for your comfort and safety, but also for the most accurate and efficient diagnoses.
The patient waiting room has a home-like feel, full of modern conveniences and patient created works of art hung on the walls. Your wait will not be long before being escorted back to the top-of-line suites containing ultra-plush massaging chairs, each equipped with a side monitor and television for your comfort and enjoyment.
During a checkup or new patient exam, Dr. Hayner wants you to be well informed about your individual dental care options and needs. He will take pictures of your smile using an intraoral camera, and he will display the images right on your chair side monitor. This 2-D image will show you a picture of your teeth and supporting structures, providing a more precise diagnosis of issues or potential issues which cannot be easily identified with a standard visual exam. Using the display, Dr. Hayner will explain his findings and suggest therapies to help you determine your best choice in oral care.

I havent been to this office in a couple years and recently went back. New dental hygienist is not very gentle and dentist is no longer attentive. Maybe just an off day for him but i only have two cleanings a year and if I dont get time to voice my concerns then i dont want to waste another cleaning to find out.

Below is my first review from a year ago when I had just finished my extensive dental work with Dr Hayner. I just returned from WVU Dental for a cleaning. This was my first visit back to them since Dr Hayner's transformation. I was certain they would notice the obvious improvement, but I wondered if they would comment? To say the least, they were practically gushing over my result. They repeatedly commented on my teeth! These are the things that 3 separate professionals said over the course of my cleaning: 'I cannot believe the difference of your before and after X-rays. I noticed as soon as I saw you, before I even looked in your mouth. This is the most beautiful dental work I have ever seen! I'm excited FOR you! Everything is perfect. I cannot find any area of concern or things to watch. Who did this and where is he? I have the utmost respect for him and the quality of work he provides. I'm usually skeptical over general dentistry but this is impressive! I'm sorry to sound cheesy and keep coming back to this but I'm absolutely amazed!' I was proud and happy before. I literally made 3 other professionals proud and happy for me! I have never been fond of dental appointments but Dr Hayner has restored my faith in dentists. He leads by example and has surrounded himself with the most exceptional & professional ladies. They are welcoming, kind and sincere, always greeting you with a smile. It's obvious they love their work environment. Dr Hayner went above and beyond caring for not only my teeth, but me as well. Sensing my anxiety & pain, he was so warm & compassionate ensuring that I was comfortable. He was very knowledgeable and professional, answering all of my questions and explaining what to expect. I drove an hour and a half to get to him each time for 6 total dental appointments. He is magic. I no longer have pain. I'm not self conscious of my smile. I can eat and drink without grimacing. My teeth are beautiful! I'm tearing up writing this just thinking of the profound effect he has had on my life. I highly recommend him and his entire staff. Thank you, Dr Hayner!!

I can't say enough about all of the staff I've seen at Dr Hayner's office. They were incredibly helpful and compassionate with my s/o who had a terrible fear of going to the dentist. Her dread of the dentist all but went away after seeing these folks for some time.

Dr. Hayner & his staff are awesome! Originally went for a cleaning after moving back to Pittsburgh. He suggested fixing my smile after numerous other dentists messed up my front teeth. I've never had a better looking smile. He explained everything, was fun to deal with and made sure I knew what to expect going in to the several procedures. Everyone in the office is great and I'm extremely happy with my end result. Best dentist I've had in the 4 different cities I've lived in.
