Dr. Michalak was born in Columbus Ohio and raised in Dublin, OH. She graduated from Dublin Scioto High School in 1999 and the Ohio State University in 2003 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. During her undergraduate studies she was a laboratory technician at the Sterilization Monitoring Service at the OSU College of Dentistry. She continued on to dental school and graduated in 2007 from OSU College of Dentistry with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery.
Dr. M is passionate about staying up to date with technology in dentistry and pursing top notch continuing education so that she can treat her patients with the highest standard of care.Dr. Michalak enjoys dabbling in just about everything but her true passions are swimming, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

If you want an honest dentist go to Hayden Run. The staff are amazing and never have to wait to be seat for your appointment. The best dentist in Dublin!!!!

I have the upmost respect and gratitude for this dentistry team. From childhood events I have some major PTSD issues with dentist. The entire team went out of their way to help me feel comfortable and relaxed. As I'm a mother as well as a dentophobe, I wanted to make sure my irrational fears weren't picked up by my kids albeit young at the time. The team would schedule appointments for me in the evenings as the last appointment of the day, so as to provide as little noises from tools as possible and would schedule my kids at different times so I could sit in the car during their appointments and only have one kid with an appointment at a time. Rather than talking to me in the office about the procedures the kids needed she would call me on my phone while I sat outside in my car away from all panicky noises, sights and smells. Today, my kids and husband still see her; they have no fear of dentist or anything else done in the course of regular checkups, and procedures through the many years they have been patients there. As far as for myself goes, my mental health issues

Mercedes (front desk), Dora (hygienist) and Dr. Michalak we're always wonderful to work with. I went to this office for nearly four years with no issues. I even moved farther away and continued to visit this practice. My insurance coverage changed in Spring 2022 and I was confronted very aggressively by the woman handling the billing. She was extremely rude over the phone and spoke to me like I was less of a person because she was having difficulty entering my new insurance information. It was so upsetting that I nearly canceled my next appointment. When I went in person she made me feel stupid for asking if I owed anything at the end of my appointment. I ultimately decided it's no longer worth driving 30 minute for their services. I really wish I would have caught her name as she could greatly benefit from sensitivity and customer service training.

I just got back from my first appt with them. They were all so warm and caring and made me feel extremely comfortable. They broke down what I needed and why, and spent a lot of time with me. Never felt rushed or like any of my questions were "dumb questions." Highly recommend!!

I was experiencing pain on Saturday morning and called Dr. M's office. They got me in on the next day that they were open and she quickly found out the problem- a badly infected tooth. She took care of it quickly and efficiently with absolutely no pain! I am very happy with her work and the professional attitude of all of the staff at Hayden Run Dentistry- they are the best!

My mother was visiting from out of town and was experiencing some pain. She is also slightly anxious at the dentist. Dr. Michalak was able to get her in right away and explained everything in a way that made sense. In fact, her entire staff was super friendly and Dr. Michalak had the best chair side manner. Mom was quickly at ease and said it was the best dental visit ever!
