Dr. Matt Hayden completed undergraduate studies at three universities; Newbold College in England, Walla Walla University in College Place Washington and University of Oregon in Eugene Oregon. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies he attended University of Missouri Kansas City where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1994 and became licensed in Oregon by the Oregon Dental Board. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Oregon Dental Association.
Tara graduated in 2007 from the ODS School of Dental Hygiene in La Grande, Oregon. After graduating, she began working at Hayden Dental. Tara is very passionate about oral health and treating periodontal disease. She focuses on giving the best quality of care and building relationships with each of her patients. She enjoys the opportunity to help our patients understand why complete oral care is so important to their overall health. Tara also believes its very important to provide the best possible care, while using a gentle touch. When Tara is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons and her family. Her hobbies include keeping busy on their farm, traveling and she also enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking.
Nancy has been with Hayden Dental for over ten years. She brings 20 years of dental assisting experience to the practice. Nancy lives in Boardman Oregon with her husband and three children. When Nancy is not in the office she can be found at livestock shows watching her kids show sheep and goats in the spring and summer. In the winter she and her family travel to Bend Oregon for her kids ski racing. She volunteers as a 4-H leader as well in her spare time.
Sarah graduated with honors from the Dental Assisting Program at Blue Mountain Community College. She has been a Dental Assistant for 7 years. She is married to a very hard working man and she is a mother to a beautiful two year old girl, and a new baby boy. She and her family are always on the go. They love to travel and spend time outdoors. In the summer they spend a lot of time on their boat at the river with family and their dogs, or in the mountains riding four wheelers and camping. In the winter time they enjoy bundling up and sledding or cutting wood for the winter. When Sarah is not in the office she has a photography business that she is very passionate about.
Ashley graduated from Blue Mountain Community College for Dental Assisting while at Blue Mountain Community College she played softball on scholarship. She has been a Dental Assistant for five years. She enjoys outdoor activities, sports, spending time with friends and playing with her dog.
Madison is a Hermiston High School graduate. 2014 Madison graduated from Oregon Institute of Technologys dental hygiene program. Madison loves coming to work to help patients maintain their beautiful, healthy smile. In her spare time Madison enjoys biking, spending time in the mountains and reading. She also loves hunting with her husband and spending time at his family farm.

The people at Hayden Dental not only do a good job of taking care of your teeth but also care about you personally. At the same time, if you are a veteran, they know how to do the government paperwork. Many do not. That is why I recommend anyone with dental problems to go to Hayden Dental.

The staff in the back are nice and I have had no issues with the service itself. But the billing department is absolutely ridiculous. I have been disputing a bill and have even requested to talk to the owners and get refused by the office staff. And now they are threatening to send me to collections. They refuse to admit their mistake. Guess I will see them in court. Not worth the service if u get to deal with their billing for months after.

We switched to Hayden Dental Group a little over a year ago and have been completely happy ever since! The staff are all friendly, professional, and always prepared for us (I am usually toting two little ones with me) all of the services/procedures my family has had with them have gone smoothly!

Dr Matt Haden is the best dentist I have ever had. He is gentle, kind, understanding of pain, and so patient. If I can feel pain when he is working he just ok well give some more injection to fix that; He didn't huff like some other dentists I've been too. His dental skill are top, too. He is a 10 in my book!!

My dentist visits at Hayden are always a pleasure, the entire staff is exceptional and I never need to wait more than a few minutes to be taken back, get into a chair and begin being worked on. This last visit my regular hygienist was out of the office on leave, which I knew was going to happen but I had not given any thought to who would see me and thus it was the first time I met Victor, who as with the rest of the staff was a pleasure to visit with and have do my cleaning. Never thought I would look forward to going to the dentist, but I now do.
