After graduating from Mehlville High School in St. Louis, Dr. Stolle went on to attend Washington University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 1979 and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the School of Dental Medicine in 1983. He stays current in his field by holding membership in several professional associations, including the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater St. Louis Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and Christian Medical Dental Association.
Following dental school, Dr. Stolle worked as a clinical dental instructor at Washington University while starting a private practice part-time. Two years later, he decided to expand and began to practice full time. Dr. Stolle has also served as an independent professional advisor for two dental insurance firms. Over the years, he has volunteered his time to performing dentistry on mission trips to Mexico and Guatemala.
Dr. Stolle has been happily married for 38 years. He has three children and one grandchild. When not at the practice he enjoys spending time with his family, playing racquetball, backpacking, fly fishing and staying active in his local church.

We opened our St. Charles office in 1999, which serves patients from St. Charles, St. Peters, OFallon, Wentzville, and surrounding areas. We are committed to quality patient care, and your comfort is a top priority. In our inviting waiting room, you can watch television on a flat screen before your checkup or procedure.

Oh my word, my husband and I are so happy with Hawthorn Dental on Union rd. They are all extremely nice and so knowledgeable. Dr. Hartman is our dentist and we couldn't be more pleased with his work. Samantha was also so helpful with questions we had along with all the others. The hygienist did a wonderful job along with such friendliness. Highly recommended. Started going here with my 93 year old mom, Shirley Wanko, whom they were so wonderful with. She just loved them. So we switched on over and couldn't be any happier. This is truly a family friendly dental practice. Very nice people, very reasonable prices and they take Medicare supplement plans. There are other dental practices in the area that bill themselves as family dentistry and are always on Facebook talking about how family friendly they are but they don't take Medicare supplement plans. To me that's only family friendly if you're a young family and the heck with the older people in your family. Hawthorn Dental is exceptional in every way.

My dental hygienist was extremely nice and fun! My dentist listened to my concerns and gave me options on how to approach them. Clean & friendly place. Definitely not going anywhere but here from now on.

I had a toothache Dr Stolle and Jenny were able to identify the problem immediately. Jenny was kind caring and patient with me. The young lady at the desk was able to set up 2 follow up appts and fix a glitch in the follow up system Hat's off to Hawthorn Dental.

Not only do they provide excellent dental care, but they are fast , on time, and so nice. I have had some major dental work and if you want a dentist who can give shots with almost no pinch or stick, Dr Hartman is your guy. I highly recommend this practice.
