Papillon, NE Orthodontist, Dr. Nathan Hawley was born and raised in sunny California and has always had a love for football, a good BBQ and the great outdoors. He now lives in Gretna with his wife Stacie and their four beautiful (and very active) daughters. Having grown up surrounded by only sisters, and now as the father of only daughters, hes become quite the expert on princesses and dance parties. However, busting a move and being able to fashion a fancy crown out of household items arent his only talents. Dr. Hawley is also fluent in Spanish, which he perfected after serving a two-year mission in Paraguay.

Dr. Hawleys education took him and his family across the United States and theyve enjoyed getting to know so many parts of the country. He received his bachelors degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and then earned his dental degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He finished his training at the University of Kentucky (Go Cats!) where he completed a fellowship in craniofacial biology, a masters degree in dentistry and a residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.

During his years of training, Dr. Hawley was honored with multiple awards and recognitions including the Deans Leadership Award, the Student Excellence Award, the Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Academic Achievements and the Henry M. Thornton Fellowship. Hes authored seven articles in peer-reviewed journals and has given presentations at local, national and international dental meetings. Last, but certainly not least, Dr. Hawley is an Eagle Scout and is still a Dentistry Merit Badge counselor.
