Very condescending regarding patient concerns. My husband had his wisdom teeth removed and had some heavy bleeding (apparently was not swallowing enough-we didn't know this at the time) so I called their office to share our concerns about 30 minutes after leaving and that we were just down the street and would like to stop back by for the dentist to take a look. The nurse insisted my husband was fine and that they were going to close soon, so we shouldn't come in. I insisted and at this time disclosed I was a nurse and her tune changed. The office was going to close in 15 minutes and we were in the parking lot as a I called. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Upon arrival, the nurse made a comment similar to "we do this all the time so what seems like a lot of blood to others is no big deal." That is probably true and I could say the same for my recurrent chief complaints in my specialty. However, no patient should feel like they are unable to address concerns in fear of feeling degraded. I am a healthcare professional and I felt uncomfortable. Do better, your patients deserve it.

I would have to agree with other reviewers. I was referred for a consult to see Dr Fridrich. We made the appointment on November 29 for February 24. I was even called to get in sooner however I was out of state at the time so I kept the February appointment. I called to confirm the appointment two days prior. I get a voicemail later in the day saying the appointment should have been scheduled at the hospital. I called them back not quite happy. The receptionist blamed my dentist's office for the referral to the wrong place and stated that the referral was not specific enough. My dentist holds this office in high regard and this office did not take accountability for their lack of action. I am highly disappointed. So the other office at the hospital dentistry and they got me in for March 8 due to this mistake. Well turns out they had to cancel for a legitimate reason and told me Dr Fridrich ws not willing to get me in sooner and they offered a June 8 appointment. That office was not understanding and would not empathize with my feedback regarding this surgeon and his staff. If I am going to shell out thousands of dollars for my dental care, I am not putting up with this. So disappointed and I am sure my dentist whom he holds Dr Fridrich in high regard is not happy about it either.

I was super nervous getting my wisdom teeth out but it was such a smooth process.

As stated by others, the office staff is brusque, rude, not empathetic. Every single time I've had an interaction with them, starting with the consult, they acted like we were an imposition. Following my child's wisdom teeth extraction, we had a concern about continued bleeding, and when I called, the receptionist audibly heaved a sigh when I stated my concern. We had another concern a week later, but didn't call because I didn't want to be treated like an idiot. If you have a choice, go elsewhere.

The surgeon himself was very nice. But the receptionists on the other hand, woo, were they rude. First, they kept calling me the wrong name even though I told them it wasn't my name several times even though they claimed that I answered to that name of "Bryce." Second, they moved my appointment from 8:00 am to 9:15 am just because I didn't get a chance to pick up the phone the day before. When I told them (remind you, in a calm and pleasant way), they were incredibly passive aggressive. All they did was criticize for not being able to pick up the phone. Continuing, the call back number was a "blind number" so after they did call it was actually impossible to call them back. Overall, nurse and surgeon were very nice but the receptionists made the otherwise 5 star experience to a 2 star experience.

Do not go here! There are plenty of other options in IC that are far better. Staff lacks the drive to excel in their profession instead they seem to focus on getting patients in and out. Sacrificing the patients knowledge and comfortabiltity with what's going on.

I took my 84 year old mother in to get her tooth pulled and they were not able to numb it after 8 shots of novacaine, which I know sometimes happens. It was a very painful and traumatic experience as she already was in pain before we came. The Dr. wrote Rx for Motrin 600Mg and it did not help. I think he should have given her something stonger in the beginning. I called office the next day to get stronger pain medicine and Nurse told me there was no Dr. in office on that day and I would need to make an appointment for the next day to get pain meds. Nurse said I should maybe see regular physician as pain might be due to other issues. Really? We never went back and she still is in pain 5 days later. Very disappointed in after care. She has an appointment to see her regular physician. Also she has no dental insurance so they got 100% of charge which they would not have gotten if she did have coverage.
