Dr. Camden Tokunaga is a second-generation dentist known for his comfort-conscious approach. He strives to make each visit as pleasant as possible, helping patients overcome the fear and anxiety of seeing the dentist. Dr. Tokunaga enjoys talking story and getting to know his patients, Its so nice meeting patients that say they saw my parents when they were kids, and not only are they still with us, they even bring their kids to see us as well.
Dr. Ashley Takiguchi loves seeing her patients grow from adorable, laughing little kids to dream-filled teens with healthy smiles. My goal is to create a positive and fun experience at a young age so that our patients enjoy seeing us, and consequentially, reduce their dental anxiety, she said.

I drive from Kailua to Mililani because of HFDC's Awesome Pediatric Dentist, Dr Westphal he is amazing with my children. Very patient and gentle. He gets work done. Made my 2 and 5 year old super comfortable in the chair. Office ladies an DA's are amazing. Thank HFDC Mililani.

My experience with the dental office has been horrible and has caused me much pain and suffering. The main problem is that they have been so resistant to correct the problems that they have caused. They are an office that has the goal of making money and not your health as a concern. I cannot leave zero stars and post this review so therefore I have to review them with one star.

Very caring and comfortable staff from the very start at entering this Dental office up until being escorted to the actual appointment venue. The clerk, Doctor Hur and dental hygienist Nani were great at what they do, customer service and satisfaction is wonderful.

First time here. Just needed a cleaning is all. Staff were okay. Dr J (can't remember last name) is the one who did my teeth cleaning. It didn't feel like a good one. I prefer the dental hygienist to do it since they tend to be more thorough. Otherwise it was average. Won't be back to this place.

For my dental cleaning appointments, I always request Cheryl, Dental Hygienist. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I am very comfortable with her.

Let me be clear, I loathe going to the dentist. If I have to have a filling I freak out. My experience at the Mililani Hawaii Family Dental has been exceptional! I have had a couple of fillings with zero discomfort which went so quickly. My fear of the dentist has subsided due to the excellent care from the entire staff.

Best dental care I've received. I eneded up leaving my previous dentist because they no longer accepted my insurance. Greatest thing that happened! I found this one through my provider. When I got there it was nothing but kind and friendly staff that was very through. Did things my last dentist didn't do, like get rid of teeth stones, explained co payments after insurance, set up future works that need to be done and estimates. Made me feel worth their time. I was seen by Dr. Lena and she was really awesome!

Haven't been to the dentist for over 20 years. I had to get a root canal and a wisdom tooth extracted on the same side one day apart. The dentist that performed each of these were very good at keeping the pain down to a minimum. I actually didn't feel anything at all. I have a few more appointments to get the rest of my teeth done. I find that all of the dentist and hygienist there are top notch and I am going to recommend them to all my Family and Friends.

Everything about this location is AMAZING! I love the staff & the doctors! Even transferred my daughter here, best decision ever! The wait is never long. Cleanliness is on point! Always friendly! They are just fantastic! I've been going here for about 8 years. My daughter started seeing Dr. Westphal, I can't tell you how wonderful he is! They do not strap children down which was my daughter's first procedure without being strapped down (since her previous pediatric dentist always did it) & she did great here! With the help of Dr. Westphal being quick & agile. He also comforted her the entire time. I really appreciated that he gave me ALL the options to choose from rather than telling me what he has to do. Highly recommend! Nani is my hygienist & she's gentle & is the sweetest! I now see Dr. Hall & he is also great, I had recently switched to him because my Dr was not in during my visit & I enjoyed him so well that I asked to be switched. Lol! Dr. Tom was my ortho for 7 years till he retired & I now see Dr. Shin. He is very thorough, I've had my permanent retainers on for a while with no problems. Lastly to Skye, Quadra & to the other women, thank you for always making my visit so pleasant :) See you all soon! -Berna
