Dr. Camden Tokunaga is a second-generation dentist known for his comfort-conscious approach. He strives to make each visit as pleasant as possible, helping patients overcome the fear and anxiety of seeing the dentist. Dr. Tokunaga enjoys talking story and getting to know his patients, Its so nice meeting patients that say they saw my parents when they were kids, and not only are they still with us, they even bring their kids to see us as well.
Dr. Ashley Takiguchi loves seeing her patients grow from adorable, laughing little kids to dream-filled teens with healthy smiles. My goal is to create a positive and fun experience at a young age so that our patients enjoy seeing us, and consequentially, reduce their dental anxiety, she said.

I wanted to make a change in our dental care for my husband and I. Somewhere that's modernized with up to date equipment & knowledge. We went to our first appointment @ Hawaii Family Dental. The Kapolei team is AWESOME, our doctor is very knowledgeable & will answer all our questions and give us options. The ladies at the front, the dental hygienist, the dental assistant, and the doctors at Hawaii Family Dental in Kapolei exceeds ALL of our expectations! We would recommend Hawaii Family Dental Kapolei to everyone!

The staff here is excellent and they stand behind their work even if you're working with a new dentist rather than a previous dentist at this location. I must say, the new dentist I now have, Dr Kirsch, is excellent. He explains each process, makes sure you're comfortable and has great interpersonal skills, not only that but he is a great technician, I would highly recommend.

I had my comprehensive exam, dental cleaning, and fillings done with Dr. Doan. She and the hygienists are professional, kind, caring, and patient. I had positive experience both times I was there. They kept me as comfortable and relaxed as possible during the procedures. Front desk are very nice and efficient too. I would recommend this dental office and Dr. Doan. Mahalo!

I am the person who has a lot of anxiety going to the dentist. I needed a crown placed. As horrible as it sounds to me. Both doctor and hygienist were compassionate and had a natural way of calming me. So in saying this, they made a horrible situation for me a good experience!

Prior to moving back to the islands my teeth needed extensive repairs due to complications from 2 "failed" implants done on the mainland. By the time I was able to get help for this post COVID from Dr. Sterling and staff that area was a total mess. Dr. Sterling basically "rolled up his sleeves", stated what needed to be done in a kind and clear manner--very matter of fact--and then he and his staff went to work. I am so impressed and grateful for the results!

Dr. Sadiguii and his assistant make a great team! The office staff are very friendly and helpful. I would reccomend Hawaii Family Dental without hesitation.
