Dr. Camden Tokunaga is a second-generation dentist known for his comfort-conscious approach. He strives to make each visit as pleasant as possible, helping patients overcome the fear and anxiety of seeing the dentist. Dr. Tokunaga enjoys talking story and getting to know his patients, Its so nice meeting patients that say they saw my parents when they were kids, and not only are they still with us, they even bring their kids to see us as well.
Dr. Ashley Takiguchi loves seeing her patients grow from adorable, laughing little kids to dream-filled teens with healthy smiles. My goal is to create a positive and fun experience at a young age so that our patients enjoy seeing us, and consequentially, reduce their dental anxiety, she said.

Doctor Gerald Meridith was very professional & made me feel comfortable at all times. He explained each step of the procedures he was doing which made me feel a part of the process. His assistant was also amazing. I highly recommend him!!!

My recent appointment at Hawaii Family Dental Center at Windward Mall was with Dental Hygienist Lani Ing. She welcomed me warmly, took X rays, cleaned my teeth till they sparkled and added a fluoride treatment. The results of my X rays and dental options were then thoroughly explained by Dr. Moon. I've always felt uncomfortable during a visit to the dentist. However, after being treated by Dr. Angelica "Gelly" Puisis, that all changed. She puts you at ease by explaining the process during the entire procedure. I recently learned that she will be leaving Hawaii Family Dental and moving out of state. I know that all of her patients, like myself will miss her.

They need a new receptionist. Whichever man that answered my call had me running in circles and I have him all my information when the specific location I asked about didn't have availability for the insurance I have. He wasted my time, didn't clearly answer my questions so I needed to ask them multiple times, and apologized for the wrong thing. I could tell he wasn't attentive, he was just following a script or something.

Love how friendly and efficient everyone is! I'm honestly generally terrified of dentists (bad experience years ago), but Dr. Gelly and her staff make you feel at ease and confident in their abilities. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist!
