Dr. Camden Tokunaga is a second-generation dentist known for his comfort-conscious approach. He strives to make each visit as pleasant as possible, helping patients overcome the fear and anxiety of seeing the dentist. Dr. Tokunaga enjoys talking story and getting to know his patients, Its so nice meeting patients that say they saw my parents when they were kids, and not only are they still with us, they even bring their kids to see us as well.
Dr. Ashley Takiguchi loves seeing her patients grow from adorable, laughing little kids to dream-filled teens with healthy smiles. My goal is to create a positive and fun experience at a young age so that our patients enjoy seeing us, and consequentially, reduce their dental anxiety, she said.

My cleaning on 10/28 was quick and thorough. Ashley and Dr. Wu were professional and very personable. ( My regular dentist is Dr. Coloma but he wasn't in that day).

I have always enjoyed my experiences at Hawaii Family Dental in Aiea. Everyone is courteous and professional from the front desk, dental technicians, and Dr. Wu. I would highly recommend Hawaii Family Dental in Aiea.

Very nice staff that makes you feel at home. Explains everything before doing work, also very knowledgable in what they do. I hated going to the dentist before but they changed my mind. Great quality work in very little time!!!

My son was seen by Dr. Wu (according to my email) she was extremely patient and listened! My son has sensory and has not been diagnosed but possibly autistic. Seriously a gem! I hope our next dentist is just as great!!!! When we move I have high expectations now!

Clean, caring and wonderfully skilled. If you need no fuss dentistry, this is your place. I had dentures made, they look great and fit like a dream. 2022: just as good as before! Had a necessary extraction and got awesome care, and it's healing fast! Came back five years later for new dentures. Dr. Coloma was wonderful, as always. They have virus killing air filters in their office as well. Come here with confidence.

This was a great find for me, the staff are very kind and friendly and the doctors are very helpful and gentle. My experience was very awesome with no feeling of pain thru out my procedure but only a Lil bit in the beginning with the numbing shot but it's all rainbows and butterflies after and the Doc will tell you how it's going to feel so you don't have to clench your butt cheecks together and expecting the worse..lol..again would recommend to all my friends and ohana. Much Mahalo and appreciation to the hard working staff and doctors there.
