Your tooth consists of two main parts: the crown, which is that part of the tooth above the gum and visible in your mouth; and the root or roots, which is that part of the tooth that lies beneath the gum and is surrounded by bone. Inside each root is a channel that runs the length of the tooth. This channel is the root canal and contains the pulp (nerves, blood vessels, and soft tissue), which is often referred to as the nerve of the tooth. The pulp may be irreversibly damaged by bacteria associated with decay, very deep restorations, fractures, trauma, or periodontal disease.

My dentist sent referral to HI. Endo to Dr.Shaikh Farid DMD for a consultation for excruciating teeth pain lower right side. He walked out 3X during 30 min. process & came back to say I need to remove my moler.. Thank God for Second opinion with Dr. Andrew Inaba @ Endodontic Associate!! Never had to remove it. Still have all my teeth after 1 year...

Staff is amazing. Don't really care for the dentist at all. But this crew made me feel extra comfortable and I felt nothing. Procedure was completed and I did not have any pain at all. I am recommending this place to call my friends and family.

Dr. Randall Mikulik is perhaps the BEST dentist I've EVER been to in my life! This office was referred to me by my regular dentist in Ewa for an emergency root canal, and let me just say Hawaii Endodontics is THE CROWN JEWEL of the Island! The office and staff are EVERYTHING you could fantasize about, turning a dreadful dental visit into a 5 star resort. Seriously. Movie selections, noise cancelling headphones, palm trees in the distance......Pretty cute Dentist to boot! Mahalo! #BestGrillDrillaOahu! #2020StaycayNo2Decay

This is the place to have your Root Canal done. Dr. Farid B. Shaikh D.M.D. is the most patient, caring gentle Dr. I've ever encountered for my root canal in December. I did not even feel the shots which is what hurts the most and he did a thorough cleaning and dissolved my infected 2 molars which were severely infected prior with medication. They have the state of art advanced technology in digital exrays with an Awesome staff too. No more pain for me. I will continue to see this Doctor always. I had a Root Canal couple months earlier with Gentle Dentel in Pali Momi and thought I was going to die in the chair with the shots given to me and even yelled and could not stop shaking with the shots giving to me prior to the Root Canal. What a Terrible experience! Thank you Dr. Shaikh for your patience and making me soo comfortable with my Root Canal. I'm so glad I found you.
