Hawaii Dental Clinic was founded as a small, one-dentist office in 1983 by Dr. Roger T.L. Wong. From the beginning of the practice, Dr. Roger and his team were committed to providing high-quality care to all patients. Over the resulting decades, the office grew to accommodate multiple doctors, hygienists, and administrative staff.
Today, Hawaii Dental Clinic is a fully modern dental facility. We employ digital diagnostic equipment such as the Orthoralix DDE Panoramic system, Gendex digital sensors, intra-oral cameras, and an integrated system of X-Rays and patient charts. Current diagnostic tools enable our dentists and hygienists to identify the true source of dental problems and to accurately diagnose dental-related disease.
Although we have increased our office size over the years, our main office location has always been in the Kukui Plaza commercial plaza at the intersection of South Beretania and Bethel Streets. Our dental office location near Downtown and Chinatown enables us to serve a wide variety of patients who live and work near the heart of Honolulu.
Our front office staff is knowledgeable regarding all forms of dental insurance. We would be happy to analyze your current insurance and provide you with an estimate of cost prior to receiving treatment. For patients without insurance, our fees are set at a usual, customary, and reasonable amount determined by major dental insurance companies nationwide.

Thank you so much to the staff at the Koko Marina office. We were having lunch at a restaurant in the same center after arriving from the Mainland two hours earlier, when one of our daughter's molars cracked and half fell out! Talk about crummy timing for a vacation. We walked across the parking lot and into the front door not sure what to expect, but were greeted with nothing but kindness and smiles. They were able to accommodate our emergency visit. After a quick exam, xray, and extraction of the remainder of the baby tooth that needed a little more help to come out, we were on our way. Thank you to everyone for saving the day!

Been there 3 times now for cleaning & routine exams. I've always had different dentists but all are efficient, friendly & most important painless! During my latest visit the dentist cleaning my teeth suggested that I see a dermatologist to check put a mole that looked irregular to her. She even asked one of the other dentists for his opinion & he agreed that I should have the mole looked at. Needless to say, I booked an appointment right away to have that checked out. So thankful for the caring, thoughtful people there!

Molly, the receptionist is great. Super friendly and kind on the phone. The interior of the office was reminiscent of a hair salon. Very little privacy. Got my tooth pulled, but otherwise a great experience. Staff and Dr. are so friendly.

Everyone is SO nice and the dentist is so careful with all he does, I had many teeth pulled and I hardly even felt the numbing shots and he tells you everything he is going to do before he dies it. Thank you to everyone at Hawaii dental in Hawaii kai. If you need a dentist I strongly suggest you try them out!

I went in to have two composite teeth refilled because they were not the right color and shape. I had worn these for years always hating looking at my smile in my mirror. Dr Corey was able to take out the old composite and put in the right color, and artistically shape these two teeth to make them look like they are perfectly natural! I am so happy with the results. It was completely painless and very quick and I'm sure will change my life attitude! A week later I went in and had the rest of my fillings rreplaced The transformation is amazing. Again there was no pain, the procedure went very quickly, and I left with my smile completely transformed to look the way I did 30 years ago. My insurance covered almost all of this! I'm delighted with the results. Dr Corey is an artist. He is able to carve composite teeth to look exactly the way they should instead of like fake plugs. I would recommend him to anyone who values quality and skill.
