Hawaii Dental Clinic was founded as a small, one-dentist office in 1983 by Dr. Roger T.L. Wong. From the beginning of the practice, Dr. Roger and his team were committed to providing high-quality care to all patients. Over the resulting decades, the office grew to accommodate multiple doctors, hygienists, and administrative staff.
Today, Hawaii Dental Clinic is a fully modern dental facility. We employ digital diagnostic equipment such as the Orthoralix DDE Panoramic system, Gendex digital sensors, intra-oral cameras, and an integrated system of X-Rays and patient charts. Current diagnostic tools enable our dentists and hygienists to identify the true source of dental problems and to accurately diagnose dental-related disease.
Although we have increased our office size over the years, our main office location has always been in the Kukui Plaza commercial plaza at the intersection of South Beretania and Bethel Streets. Our dental office location near Downtown and Chinatown enables us to serve a wide variety of patients who live and work near the heart of Honolulu.
Our front office staff is knowledgeable regarding all forms of dental insurance. We would be happy to analyze your current insurance and provide you with an estimate of cost prior to receiving treatment. For patients without insurance, our fees are set at a usual, customary, and reasonable amount determined by major dental insurance companies nationwide.

The Hawaii Dental Clinic in Downtown Honolulu provided us with excellent customer service all throughout the entire dental care process. From the initial scheduling, the actual dental care, the billing, and the post visit follow-ups, we experienced courteous, efficient, and professional service. We highly recommend this dental clinic.

My tooth has been hurting for a while. The gums and cheek was inflamed! They were able to extract the tooth!! I'm so grateful for that!! I've been in pain for awhile, and I'm glad that they were able to help me!! They were very helpful and caring!!

I've been coming to Hawaii Dental Clinic for years now. Location is in Kukui Plaza in Chinatown, they have public parking underground and entrance is behind of the building, and once you park there you just take elevator goes right up to the clinic. Not the new dental clinic with new facilities but the Dr. and staffs are amazing people. They always accomodated me with my request, sometimes i have to cancelled my appointment few times because work/kids schedule but they always help and re-schedule without any questions. Recently Dr. Cross is directly cleaning my teeth and tell me any concern. Most of dental clinic I've been Dr was only look at my teeth and not the one doing cleaning job but hygienist. I felt like Dr takes more time and more careful cleaning my teeth and also can check right away if there's any problems need to fix. I'm very happy with the service and care at HDC. Highly appreciated.

Terrific and very skilled dentists. They hold to their appointment times. I have never had to sit in their waiting room waiting my turn. Dr Lisa Wong has made my mouth like new again.

Hawaii Dental Clinic is a great place to go for all your dental needs the people at the front desk are the best so helpful and the Doctors are very good so is the assistant .They all made it such a great experience not scary at all very comfortable. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Believe me I'm a chicken when it comes to going to the dentist but going there no problem. Thank you all making my visit great looking forward to seeing you soon. Aloha.

Iris is super friendly. She has in her that charisma that is a must-have when it comes to customer service. The doctors/dentist have great service as well, plus they make sure you get comfortable. Overall, a 5-star rating is rightful for HDC Downtown!
