Dr. Chriss main focus is providing a gentle dental experience for each and every patient. He is compassionate, easily approachable, humorous, and a dentist who is committed to providing you with the highest quality of dentistry.
Dr. Chris was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has been practicing in Maryland for many years. He received a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from Temple University School of Dental Medicine. A strong believer in continuing education as a means to ensure that his patients receive the highest quality of dental care, Dr. Chris has completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) from the University of Connecticut Health Center.
With over sixteen years of experience treating patients, Dr. Chris is highly proficient in all aspects of general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Maryland State Dental Association (MSDA), Harford Cecil Dental Society, and Harford Cecil Dental Study Club.
Dr. Chris is very active and passionate in community service. He created an annual 'Veterans Day from the Heart' program to provide complimentary dental care to veterans who do not have dental insurance. His story in helping veterans was featured in Havre de Grace Magazine.
Lisa Trimble, office coordinator, strives to provide excellence in dentistry by bringing a balance of professionalism and client compassing to promote strong dental health. With over 43 years of dental experience, she began her career in 1977 as a dental assistant. She immersed herself in learning all aspects of the dental office. After 10 years, she became the office coordinator which allowed her to continue to assist clients through a consistent and personal front-office presence. Lisa is devoted to provide all her patients the support they need throughout the entire dental process. She has extensive knowledge of the dental insurance industry and can provide in-depth expertise to clients needing aid in navigating the insurance world and their treatment.
She has been married to her husband Charlie for 28 years. Together they have a daughter Meagan, son-in-law Josh, and 3 grandchildren. Her family is her top priority, and she enjoys spending time with them especially summer time in the pool.
Rebecca Milway is the dental assistant, and she has been working with Dr. Chris since 2017. During procedures, she is Dr. Chriss second pair of hands, ensuring that your dental work is completed efficiently and comfortably.
Rebecca studied to become a dental assistant at Harford Community College. After a day of fixing teeth, she goes home to her husband, Dustin, and two dogs, Waylon and Daisy. In her free time she likes to play video games and play the piano.
Holly began serving our office recently. She joined the team as a Dental Hygiene volunteer for Veterans Day From The Heart program, but joined the team in 2022 officially. Holly earned her Bachelor Degree of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. She has 10 years of experience and can perform a range of services which include preventative and non-surgical periodontal procedures. She enjoys implementing new techniques and delivering quality care to her patients. When she is not working she spends her days on her farm with her husband, horses, dogs, and cats.

I've not been to a dentist in 40 years except for one emergency repair. Dr. Chris and Rebecca were awesome. They treat you with dignity, pay attention to your particular concerns, and with their expertise it really was painless. I am not an easy patient and they were wonderful while still being effective. If you're avoiding making a dental appointment, please consider Dr Chris and Havre de Grace Dental. I'm glad I did.

I called HdG dental today bc of a tooth infection I've been suffering from for weeks. I tried to see another dentist but they were charging me an arm and a leg. Rebecca got me in same day and Dr Nguyen took a look and came up with a plan to help me. It's affordable and they were so kind to me. I highly recommend this practice!!!

I can not thank or recommend this office enough! When I had broken a tooth late on a Friday night of a holiday weekend. I was sure I'd be spending the next week in pain while waiting for an appointment. A friend recommended Dr Chris and I am so thankful. Dr Chris and his assistant came in from vacation just to help me out! When every other office wouldn't even return my calls. I have extreme anxiety and have had terrible experiences at other dental offices. Dr Chris takes his time, explains what's happening, and is so GENTLE. I had a broken tooth at the gum line. When I tell you it was a painless experience, I didn't even know the tooth was out before he was putting in my gauze and we were finished! Due to anxiety and lack of insurance I have never been great with preventative care for my teeth. Dr Chris is affordable even without insurance. Dr Chris and his assistant showed me so much kindness and compassion that I can never repay! They are just truly amazing people who genuinely care about the people they help. I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist so long as it's at Dr Chris office! I will be a patient for life! Can't wait to go back, anxiety free, for my cleaning! Every dentist should aim to be more like Dr Chris!

I had such a great experience here! I was well overdue for a checkup/cleaning after the pandemic, and everyone here was so kind and friendly. I ended up needing a cavity filled, and Dr. Chris made it such an easy and painless experience. I wouldn't have even known that he was injecting the novocaine if he hadn't said so - there was no pain or discomfort at all. If you're someone who has had negative experiences at the dentist before, you can rest assured that everyone here is not only skilled and professional, but genuinely aims to make your experience a positive one.

Excellent first experience with Holly and Dr. Nguyen! Everyone was really friendly and I was comfortable the entire time. Exam and cleaning were both thorough but efficient. Would definitely return in the future!
