Dr. Scott Cravenis a Utah native and has been practicing dentistry since 1996. He is a seasoned dentist and proficient in all aspects of general dentistry including restorative dentistry, oral surgery, dental implant placement and restoration, cosmetics, endodontics, orthodontics, and laser assisted dentistry.
Dr. Craven loves learning. He graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He attended Creighton University Dental School in Omaha, Nebraska, and was one of ten students selected for the RDEP program in which he was able to attend his first year in the medical school at University of Utah. Years later, he earned a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and subsequently a PhD doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.As a practicing dentist, Dr. Craven understands the challenges dentists face and with his degrees in psychology he has a deep understanding of the mindset necessary to create a thriving dental practice and develop an empowered dental team.
Dr. Craven and his wife are the parents of five children and three grandchildren (more to come!!). He enjoys writing and has written two fiction novels and embraces anything in the science fiction or fantasy genre. Pickelball is a new favorite and he enjoys playing with the family when he gets a chance. He actively serves in his church and community.

Dr Craven is incredible! I've gone to him on and off my whole life as I've moved away from Pleasant View and just moved back. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable! His staff is also amazing! Super friendly, helpful and caring! Look no further if you need a dentist in the Ogden/Pleasant view, Harrrisville,North Ogden area.

I visited Haven Dental Center this past week for the third time in the past two years. Dr. Craven and his staff have been very professional and friendly in all of my interactions with them. I'd definitely recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to visit Dr. Craven and Haven Dental.

Dr. Craven and his staff are wonderful. Right when you walk in you are greeted with friendliness and professionalism. Dr. Craven is kind and soft spoken and I'm very pleased with how my dental visits go. Concerns are met and questions are answered. I highly recommend Dr. Craven.

I had a broken wisdom tooth that had become infected. I was so desperate to get an appointment. I called Haven Dental Center and talked with Brandy about my situation and to see if they could fit me in quickly. They're closest appointment was a week away however Brandy kept me in mind when there was a cancelation and she got me in sooner. Outstanding! I walk in for my appointment and everyone was very welcoming, kind, and accomidating. Dr Scott Craven and his assistant were amazing! They made sure I was numb and comfortable. And the procedure was done before I knew it. Dr Scott is very efficient, knowledgeable, and super friendly! He answered all questions and concerns I had before procedure and after. Thank you Haven Dental Center for your wonderful service! 12 out of 10 would totally recommend!

Hadn't been to a dentist in 20 years. I was surprised to find so many weren't open on Fridays. Went in on a Friday to set up an appointment for the following week...they took me in immediately. They treated me the way I'd treat my personal family. The delicate handling of the loose tooth...working gently around it to get the necessary imaging for the future implants and crowns they're going to be installing to restore my smile. The knowledgeable, professional and delightful staff, worked quickly to obtain the soonest appointments with other specialist needed for the tasks of rebuilding my dental bone structure. They treated me with the utmost respect and kindness. I can't remember a dental experience in my 60 year life, that was so pleasant! I highly recommend this team!

I had two implants done by them. To be honest they have been kind of unprofessional throughout it. When I had the surgery done they didn't tell me when I was being put under or what to expect. When I finally got the implant teeth they didn't fit the first time which is kind of expected but even the second and third time they didn't really match up. I had to get sent with no teeth on my post to the actual place where they make the teeth. Even then the color matching wasn't right. It was just a lot of hassle a lot of back-and-forth and a lot of waste of time and my teeth still don't look right. My implants are too light compared to my real teeth. My implants have popped off a couple of times when eating and flossing. They did get me in right away And I understand that things happen but when it happens this much it's a little bit irritating. I don't wanna have to go back-and-forth and wait for hours just for teeth that might pop off when I floss or eat. I still get afraid that they might pop off but they haven't done it again yet and it's been a while.

Haven Dental provided a wonderful experience. All digital paperwork made making an appointment a breeze. Sara the hygienist is excellent as a clinician and a person and Dr. Craven's warm demeanor made my visit overall a fantastic experience.

Sue and I were absolutely thrilled and happy to have Dr. Craven as our dentist. He is definitely a man of integrity and a very truthful and honest person. Haven Dental Center is so convenient for us, and we adore Brandy and Sarah, they are both so professional, but make you feel like family. Absolutely love and recommend Haven Dental! Their staff is so kind, gentle, and understanding! The energy is always welcoming My family was nervous due to the mistreatment we received at our last practice but Haven Dental turn that around immediately and now My family is happy to go to the dentist again!!
