Dr. Gonzalez first entered the dental field as an assistant before deciding to go further with her training. Why? The answer to that question is very simple she simply couldnt imagine doing anything else! This world has felt like a second home to her over the years, and shes never regretted her decision to make oral healthcare a lifelong career.
After the completion of her undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona, Dr. Gonzalez achieved her Doctor of Dental Surgery with a scholarship at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She chose to work as a faculty member of the school after graduation, teaching patients and students alike, before making the transition to private practice. Today, she regularly pursues continuing education to stay up to date with the latest dental innovations. This commitment includes advanced training in dental implants in particular.
Dr. Gonzalez has three children and two grandchildren. When she isnt busy treating teeth, she likes to spend quality time with her loved ones, traveling, and do pretty much anything outdoors particularly hiking!
From a young age, Dr. Kurtz had a strong interest in science and medicine, and he knew early on that he was going to pursue a career in medicine. He eventually chose dentistry in particular because it presented him with a unique opportunity to build strong relationships with patients in need while also working directly with his hands. Several years later, hes never regretted his decision!
After graduating from Arizona State University, Dr. Kurtz completed his DMD at Midwestern Universitys Arizona campus. He also performed an oral surgery externship at Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA, working directly with their Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team on cases ranging from simple extractions to complex trauma and dental implants. Today, he has received extensive advanced training in dental implant procedures through multiple prestigious organizations. Hes additionally certified in Invisalign and laser dentistry.
Dr. Kurtz is happily married to his high school sweetheart Brooke, and they have two kids named Kade and Kali. When he isnt busy at the dental office, you can typically find him enjoying quality time out on the water with his family and friends. He also enjoys scuba diving and traveling.

I am a terrible dental patient in that I am petrified at the thought of going in. However, today I went in for a deep cleaning and removal of a very old filling and a crown. Everyone was very professional and did their best to make sure I was well taken care of and was doing OK throughout the process. Thank you

Staff is always happy, nice offices, Dr Kurtz has an amazing way of making sure it doesn't hurt and a great sense of humor. I had a crown fail and they got me in next day. Also... reasonable prices for a vet with no insurance. So much more I could say...

Did a good job on the tooth but really messed up my lip and inside of my mouth. Was bleeding before I left the office and now is swollen and hurts. Day two... swelling has gone down some, pain gone. HD call twice when they found out I was having a problem. They were very concerned which is appreciated. Raising my rating based on their follow up.

Been going here to Havasu Dentistry for couple years now. Dr. Kurtz is fantastic, takes the time to really explain what is going on, treatment plans, etc. Just had my teeth cleaned by Brittany, very nice, also explains what she's going to be doing. In fact all the staff are excellent!

Love Havasu Dentistry! Everyone there is friendly and more than willing to answer any questions I may have, whether about what I need to have done, insurance issues, etc. Dr. Kurtz has a great personality, is very knowledgeable and has such a gentle touch when working on my teeth. I've had dentists previously who were so rough, my mouth hurt for hours after, so it's a pleasure having a dentist who is so gentle. In addition, the staff is very welcoming and Brittany is a wonderful hygienist, very efficient - but very personable also. All in all, Havasu Dentistry is the best dental office I've ever been to and I feel very fortunate to have found them since moving to Havasu three years ago.

I haven't seen a dentist in 7 yrs -went to Havasu Dentistry today. I was very nervous! Dr Allen and all of the assistants were very calming and made sure I was doing okay. Everything went well and I'll be going back to complete my dental plan. I can't say enough good praises on how well they take care of you. All of the office seems genuinely concerned about your well-being.

I was on vacation and got a sudden toothache. I called Havasu dentistry and they were able to get me an emergency dental appointment on short notice.
