Here's some news about pain killers dr west an how drs are allowed to prescribe them. The law did change over the past couple of years seeing what can and cannot be prescribed. The first prescription is not supposed to exceed three days, and then an additional prescription may be sent in for another four days. A final prescription can be sent in for another seven days if the patient is seen again. After that, they are supposed to refer to pain management. A lot of people have use that as an excuse to not prescribe beyond the first couple of days. Makes life easier for the dr but not for his patients

Dr.York is amazing... literally just had surgery went back in there an the nurses wouldn't give me liquid form because for whatever reason the pills are the best after I stated multiple times the pills make me sick an I have a low pain tolerance I never had a problem with the liquid... mind you every extraction I've had before they never gave me this problem till now ! Won't be going back that's for sure !

They are fast and efficient, i literally just left from having my wisdoms removed but they are not friendly. They do not listen to what your saying and ignore most of what you say considering i asked for my wisdoms before i was put to sleep and yet they still tossed them. I mentioned during my consultation that i still exclusively breast feed my son. They didnt even ask about Breast feeding or anything before procdure.

I had doctor Owen. Had a great experience, with very little pain after surgery. Left with a good bit of information and lots of help from the staff.

Dr. Owen and his staff were so nice to me! They knew I was nervous and answered all my questions and Calmed my nerves. Would highly recommend them!

The insurance woman Ms.Gwin was very disrespectful and insensitive about patient needs and has the audacity to tell patients they should find someone to help them and advise patients to call family or friends to help with fees also while a patient is doing so Ms.Gwin rushes the patient out the room and reminding them that the room is need for someone else even though the appointment for that day was paid by insurance and other income further more while leaving Ms.Gwin assured me that a prescription would be called in but the doctor in Surgery I'm smart enough to know that the doctor doesn't call in the prescription however I was told that I would receive a phone call when it was done I waited at The place where my medicine was prescribed for 30 minutes after I left and called back to the dentistry And was told that it just got called in when I went inside the store they told me that it would set over 10 minutes ago I am The patient and I pray that no one else ever experiences treatment like this I hope no one decides to go to this dentistry this was very unprofessional and unorthodox

I went here with a referral from the VA for my first appointment. i had all my paperwork prepared because doing anything with the VA is a nightmare, but to my surprise they had everything all ready for me when I got there. Everyone there was so sweet and Nice and the building itself is nice and clean. They set my surgery up a few weeks later while i was there it was a nice a quick trip. On the day of my extration i got there and waited five minutes maybe, then they called me to the back. I was nervous because its always a bad time getting and IV but i didnt even feel it go in, The nurse was so good!! I dont rember much but its the next day and I'm doing great. I was really really impressed with them. Everyone from the reception to the dentist was so nice.

I recommend this place to get your teeth pull...Its highly satisfied they make you feel comfortable about yourself..And they are not rude people...

These people are so sweet and really good at what they do.. would definitely recommend.. they were very busy and short handed when I went and were still very polite and compassionate.

Mask policy is not followed by employees. In the back, they are walking around and working maskless and half masked, but they insist that you wear a mask. The country is opening up. The city of Hattiesburg ended its mask mandate weeks ago. I was told their mask policy is based on Dental Board policy which is not true. We've been to 3 dentist offices in this area in the last two weeks and they are all mask free. How come the other dentists aren't complying with "dental board policy"? Stop the conformed nonsense and fear mongering. Otherwise the staff is friendly and professional.

If I Could Give 10 Stars I Would. Dr York And His Nurse Jordan Were The Absolute BEST! I Have Anxiety W| Dental Work, And They Made Sure I Was Calm before Sedation. Usually After An Extraction I Have Intense Pain, But I Am Feeling Great Post Op. I Will Be Referring All of My Patients To Yall.

My wife had surgery there, it was a disgrace how inconsiderate these people are. First they make the appointment for 9:30am so as usual we got there 9:15am to be considerate of their time. Keep in mind that my wife is scared and crying about this procedure. First they will not let me in to support my upset wife, then they make her set in the waiting room 45 minutes by her self, with nothing to do but worry. They blame it on covid, that is no reason to be heartless and treat others like animals. People like this have no heart for others. People like this is why family is becoming a word of the past. It is sad that people like the ones here will use anything for a excuse to show just how little they care about the people who spend so much money to be cared for by them.

Long wait time!!! Unsure of what teeth they were going to remove from my 13 year old daughter, and then send her home with ONLY Motrin. Oh and stuck her 3 times to get a IV. I've been a nurse 20+ years YOU DO NOT DO THIS TO PEOPLE!!! My daughter was asking for me to start her IV!!!!

I just had 2 root tips & 2 wisdom teeth pulled yesterday & Dr. West & his nurses did an AMAZING job!!! The fact that they let my boyfriend in the back w/ me UNTIL they started my sedation helped tremendously bc I was SO terrified. I am in hardly any pain besides a little pressure. I would recommend Dr. West to ANYBODY!!! The WHOLE staff were so nice & considerate. They made me feel extremely comfortable & were very mindful to my fears. Thank you guys SOOOOO much!!!!!!

Dr. West was wonderful, but his practices are so messed up my wife of 38 yrs. was asked if there was a medical reason she needed to be with me for my follow up! I paid 2400 cash and my insurance paid 2400 and couldn't have my wife for a follow up appointment ridiculous! Then during my surgery no one contacted my wife while she was made to sit in her vehicle. She had to call just to get an update! I won't be recommending nor will I be back!

They were so friendly and so patient. The procedure was fairly fast and the waiting time was short. Dr. West and his nurses were amazing . Special shout-out to last nurse I saw she was sooo sweet and nice to me. I had a great time
