Dr. Johnna LeeAnn Hatfield was born in Ocala, FL. She moved to West Virginia when she was a child. From 2003-2011, she attended West Virginia University, where she graduated cum laude with a bachelors degree in biology and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After graduation, she moved closer to family in Charleston, WV, and worked in a private dental office. While in Charleston, Dr. Hatfield was awarded the Consumer Research Council Americas Top Dentist Award in 2012. When an opportunity to work in Greenville became available, she and her husband jumped at the chance to become proud citizens of the Carolinas. While at WVU, she was a cheerleader and stayed very active within the community through volunteer work and organizing charity events. She also served in the National Exemplary Scholars and Service Organization and Alpha Phi Omega, to name a couple.
Dr. Hatfield is committed to providing the best possible care and most up-to-date procedures. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She enjoys working with children and adults, restoring implants, working with her patients to create custom-fitted and aesthetically pleasing dentures and partials, treating mild orthodontic alignment, and placing simple restorations. Her true passion lies with cosmetic dentistry; nothing gives her more joy than giving a patient a confident, beautiful smile.
In her spare time, Dr. Hatfield loves spending time with her high school sweetheart and husband, Travis; her new son, Dylan; and their Yorkshire Terrier, Roxy. She also enjoys volunteering with her fellow Junior League of Greenville members, cooking, and traveling.

Megan Office Manager Megan grew up in dentistry: her father and grandfather were both dentists. She started out as an assistant for many years before transitioning to office manager, giving her a vast knowledge of both the clinical and financial sides of running a practice.
She and Dr. Hatfield also became certified CEREC trainers two years ago. They go all over the state teaching other offices about the newest 3D technology. Fun fact they are the only female duo in the Southeast!

Shilan Dental Assistant Hello, my name is Shilan! Im Dr. Hatfields dental assistant. I graduated from Palmetto School of Career Development in the dental assisting program. I got into the dental world following some cosmetic work I had done on my own teeth. After the change, I loved how amazing it felt to really smile and be happy with my smile. I knew I would love to help make people feel the way I did. It was a great choice, and I love the field Im in! Outside of the dental world, I love to binge watch shows on Netflix and spend time seeing the views outdoors.

Excellent experience! Dr. Hatfield eliminated my fear of the dentist. She is very accommodating, kind, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend. You won't regret going!

After several years of neglecting my dental health, I made an appointment with Dr. Hatfield upon a referral from a friend and was not disappointed. From the initial visit to the follow up, each experience has been wonderful. They've taken away my fear of the dentist. The staff are friendly and the hygienists are gentle and accommodating. Finding a good dentist is always a challenge. Finding a good and competent one is really doing something for your wellbeing. After moving here a couple of years ago my wife and I came upon Dr Hatfield through our provider list. We were happy we did. It is never any fun doing fillings or crowns etc and in many cases there are the unknown issues that arise. We have both experienced a professional outcome from a confident Dentist who does it right the first time. The office and staff are great as well. We recommend Dr Hatfield with highest regard.

Not a fan of a dentist but let me tell you this is the best dentist I've ever been to ! My teeth feel great when I leave here! I totally recommend Hatfield because they care about you ! This dentist is a must if you don't want to hurt and such great compassionate care, thank you

Best dentist I've ever been to! Very kind and willing to work with my husband's and my schedules. My husband has had two root canals done by Dr. Hatfield in the space of a year and had no issues with either surgery or recovery and has had no flaws in the crowns. I myself had a filling replaced recently and have had no issues surrounding that experience. The entire staff is upbeat, skilled and efficient.

I have been a patient since the summer of 2017. My 70 yr old teeth have never been in better shape. Dr Hatfield tells it like it is and together decisions are made. Everyone in the practice treats you like family. Thank you.

This is the best dentist! The office is nice and comfortable, and all of the staff are wonderful and accommodating. I have had to bring my baby with me twice now (ugh!) and they have been so kind and understanding and helpful about it. They were also wonderful with my 2 year old on his first visit! They try to make it as quick and easy as possible, and I always leave with teeth feeling squeaky clean!
