In practice for 20 years, Dr. Jeppson and his wife Jamie have 3 sons. He enjoys fishing & skiing with his boys. He has spent many years as a Scoutmaster & has taken his scouts on backpacking & canoeing trips all over Western United States. Since he was young, Dr. J. and his brothers had the odd hobby of going on excursions to catch snakes & other reptiles, a hobby now in the 2nd generation with his sons. He loves living in St. George, dentistry, and his patients.
Dr. Jeppson has completed an extensive level of post-doctorate education, making him one of the most highly trained dentists around. Dr. Jeppson completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University, and his DDS degree from the University of Iowa, one of the top five dental schools in the country. Following dental school he completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. He also completed and was awarded his Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). He is licensed in IV sedation, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). He has completed a graduate level preceptorship in implantology from UNLV. Dr. Jeppson has also completed over 700 hours of post-doctorate continuing education in endodontics, full mouth reconstruction, and cosmetic smile makeovers.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Dr Darren Hatch was born and raised in St. George. After working in private practice in Northern California, Dr Hatch returned home to Southern Utah in 2012 to join Dr Jeppson. Dr. Hatch has received training in oral surgery, prosthodontics, pediatrics, endodontics and cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and is certified in oral sedation. Dr. Hatch loves dentistry and focuses on quality care for his patients.
Dr. Hatch and is wife, Tiffany, have 3 year old twins who keep them very busy and happy. He enjoys all sports, especially basketball and golf, and last year he ran/walked his first/last marathon. Dr Hatch loves being back home in sunny St George and is excited to raise his own kids here as well.
