Founded by Dr. Cody Haslam, Haslam Family Dental has been a part of the Billings, Montana community since 2003. From the first day we opened, our goal has been to provide an unmatched level of personalized, trusted dental care to patients throughout Yellowstone County and beyond.
As a family dental practice, we focus on the dental needs of children, teens and adults of all ages. We take a dental home approach to care, meaning we serve as your primary dental care provider, referring you for specialty care, such as orthodontics, as needed. This philosophy allows our team to get to know you on an individual level, catch potential concerns early and ensure you and your family members receive the care you need, when you need it.
Holly is proud that patients of Haslam Family Dental enjoy a family-like atmosphere where people are the first priority. Dr. Haslam cares about his patients and about his staff, she says. Our practice is small enough to give the individual attention that each patient deserves.
Like many of the patients at Haslam Family Dental, Holly is a busy mom with five children. When shes not welcoming patients, she reads, rides her bike or attends one of many activities with or for her children. From skydiving to vine swinging, shes always up for an adventure.
When asked what patients can expect when visiting Haslam Family Dental, Jo McGullam cheerily responds, We treat you like family. Each and every person we welcome into our practice is important, and we strive to let that show.
A graduate of the Oregon Institute of Technology with more than 25 years experience at the dental chair, this wife and mom of three knows all about dentistry and family. We specialize in the prevention, treatment and maintenance of periodontal disease, or infections of the gums, she says. I like to help people.
Jo has been a dental hygienist with Haslam Family Dental since 2011 and enjoys welcoming each individual into the practice. When shes not chairside, youll find her riding bikes, watching movies or enjoying an ice cream treat with her children.

Difficult to reconcile insurance issues. Insurance changed and the front desk / invoicing person was well aware my insurance was being denied. This was not communicated to me at all until after multiple visits. When asked why this wasn't communicated the response from the office was "we are not obligated to do so" so it appears they wanted to intentionally have us be seen to pay the full rate out of pocket. Pretty unfortunate of a situation. I spoke with another local office about the situation and they were pretty appalled by the response as well that "we are not obligated to be transparent that your insurance was being denied". For a young family this was pretty disappointing to have to pay hundreds of dollars for a routine visit.

Called on a Monday. Got seen on a Tuesday. Treatment planned for a Thursday. I love the small but professional feel this place has. Your treated more than just a patient and all the staff really treats you right. They have 1 dentist and 2 hygienists, but that didn't stop them from getting me in as soon as they can. They also take most insurance and work with you even if you don't have one. I highly recommend going to this place for a cleaning/minor dental work done.

I was a patient of Dr. Haslam's when I was a kid and always had a pleasant experience. I ended up moving and working as a dental assistant in other practices but never forgot the wonderful care I received from Dr. Haslam and his entire staff. I returned to his practice as a patient just recently and it's like time never even passed by. He is a remarkable dentist with vast knowledge and a kind heart. His whole staff works hard to make sure you are comfortable, well taken care of, and healthy. I will be a life long patient.

These people are amazing! Dr. Haslam really listens to your concerns and addresses them quickly! His receptionist Holly is also wonderful! I can't recommend them enough!!

I was a patient of Dr. Haslam's when I was a kid and always had a pleasant experience. I ended up moving and working as a dental assistant in other practices but never forgot the wonderful care I received from Dr. Haslam and his entire staff. If you have a fear of going to the dentist or dental phobia, this is the place to go. I have been so nervous of going to the dentist I get sick. All the staff here is very good with nervous patients and don't make you feel bad about anything. I cant say Im not nervous anymore, but I can say I feel safer with this staff than I ever have before.

From the minute I opened the door, Holly at the front desk made me feel at ease. Then Jo cleaned my teeth, and she was wonderful! She explained everything before she did it, and her great personality and skill made my experience a positive one. Then Dr. Haslam saw me, and he also made my visit enjoyable! I didn't ever think I would use the words dentist and enjoyable in the same sentence! Thank you staff for easing my anxiety. I actually am looking forward to my next visit.

A great dental experience. The office is clean, clean, clean and both dental techs I've had were experienced and thorough in their cleaning, I felt at ease and didn't come out of the chair with my neck and shoulders in knots from tension. Dr. Haslam's exam was VERY thorough, I Love going to this dental office. I've had extensive work done in the past and know a good dental professional when I find one. Dr. Haslam and his team is a keeper. I'm very thankful that I found them. 5 Gold Stars.
