We know that going to the dentist is not high on everyones favorites list, so we try our best to make it a relaxed, light-hearted, fun experience for everyone. I received my dental degree from the University of Southern California in 1994. Upon receiving my license to practice in California that year, I began working as an associate in private practices. Over the course of 6 years, the associateship provided me with many opportunities to develop skills in all aspects of dentistry.
I first visited the Tri-Cities in 1986 when I spent a summer here with my uncle and his family. What impressed me about this part of the state was the clean air and clear sky! I remember one night sitting out on the driveway of my uncles home in southeast Kennewick; I looked up in the sky and could not believe how many stars I saw. Coming from southern California, seeing stars in the summer night sky was a rarity!
Fast forward to 2000; I was looking for a place to raise my young family. Again, my uncle encouraged me to come to southeast Washington because of its family-oriented community. We made the move and havent looked back.
Today, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 daughters who are at home while my oldest, a son, is away for college. These two girls keep me busy with their school and extracurricular activities. I also devote much time serving in various ministries at my home church in Kennewick.
I am Dr. Sara Thomas. I am a native of the Pacific Northwest, having grown up in Yakima. I spent four years playing basketball and completing my undergraduate studies in Biology at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA. From there I entered the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, earning my Doctorate in Dental Surgery (Fight On!). Upon graduation in 2010, I worked in a pediatric dental office in Texas before returning to the Pacific Northwest to be closer to family.
I have been in the Tri-Cities area since 2013. I currently devote my professional time between Harvest Family Dental and Tri-City Community Health, where I am blessed with providing care to special needs adults in a hospital setting. I also serve as adjunct faculty for the Columbia Basin College Dental Hygiene Program and donate time to provide dental coverage at Grace Clinic. I love collaborating with other dental and medical professionals in order to create the best team approach for the needs of those in my care.
I am very grateful for the opportunity to be back and settled in the PNW. I have enjoyed becoming increasingly involved with this community and am looking forward to the opportunity to serve you and your loved ones.

The whole Harvest Family Dental team provides a high level of care for both cleanings as well as procedures. My wife and I love it here! We have been well cared for by Dr. Ng, Dr. Thomas, and the whole dental staff. Thank you Harvest Family Dental.

Always a great experience.Visits are stress-free. Dr Ng and his entire staff are very polite, gentle and attentive to my elderly mother in particular. I especially appreciate them for that and their genuine "extended family" approach! We're also all "smiles" after today's visit with Megan and Misty:)

I have been going to Dr. Ng for several years now and he fixes what needs to be fixed and he does it very well. The dental hygenist working in his office is also exceptional.

We just had our appointment with our children. The staff was professional and did a great job with hand hygiene as soon as we walked through the door. They checked each temperature sanitizing the equipment. Each staff member was masked and they were efficient with kids in a timely manner, so we weren't there for a prolong period of time. Thankful for their service during this challenging time.

We went to this place for our first teeth cleaning in the tri-cities. Before the processes, we have asked whether all the fees are covered by our insurance and they said yes. However, one month later, we received a bill for the cleaning. We called them and they denied they said that thing. How a doctor can lie to the patient! It is so terrible place. Don't go to this place for your dental health!

Dr. Ng is a skilled and caring doctor. His office is quick to arrange appointments and he is always prompt to see you. He does his best to make you comfortable and makes it clear what treatments are necessary. His bedside manner is top notch and he is very competent. I highly recommend Dr. Ng!
