Dr. Hartmann has called the Santa Barbara area home since arriving in 1960 as a young child.He attended local schools until going to dental school at the University of Southern California.After graduating from dental school in 1983, Dr. Hartmann began practicing family and cosmetic dentistry in Montecito and now has the pleasure of treating four generations of some of his earliest patients.
In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Hartmann has also been a local avocado rancher and flower grower, a citizen journalist and a local history buff, the father of three daughters, an avid glider pilot and an amateur photographer.He and his wife, Stacey Wright, havewalked every street in the city limits of Santa Barbara. My twin sons love their new Dentist Dr. Hartmann. It feels very comfortable to be in his office with him and his assistant, lovely daughter Elizebeth. They are warm, joyful, personal and professional. We totally trust them and recommend them to our friends and others. The other good thing is they happily accept our insurance when our old Dentist does not anymore!

Peter Hartmann is an EXCELLENT dentist. My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Hartmann for over 20 years and my daughter started seeing him once she was old enough. My 86 year old father recently moved to Santa Barbara and he is now a patient too and he has nothing but good things to say about Dr. Hartmann. I highly recommend Dr. Peter Hartmann.
