Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) are individuals who are specially trained to deliver anesthesia. Our office employs two full time CRNAs to provide anesthesia to our patients. Hartman Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is certified by the state governing board to provide anesthesia and has all the required emergency equipment.

After every patient care visit and routinely throughout the day, our office is thoroughly disinfected. We place a special emphasis on disinfection of all commonly encountered surfaces and the office is professionally cleaned on a regular basis.

Your treatment deserves the most attention and clear communication. Our office has two specialized team members that coordinate your care. If additional information or testing is needed prior to your surgery, these team members will assist in obtaining information and coordinating your surgery.

Our priority is clear and effective communication between our office and you personally or your team of doctors. This allows important information to be collected and organized to improve your experience.

Hi! My name is Mike Hartman and welcome to Hartman Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I enjoy my job tremendously and listed above is my overall approach to patient care. Unfortunately I fractured a root and had to have a lower molar extracted and grafted for an implant. As a retired dentist who practiced in the area for 30 years I just want people to know what a great experience from start to finish I had All staff members are caring and exceptionally well trained It's clear to me as it was when I practiced that Hartman Oral surgery truly cares about patient outcomes and experiences I can't say enough good things about this practice. Dr Hartman is one of a kind

I had 2 of my wisdom teeth removed and they did a great job. My post recovery was smooth and I haven't had any issues. Dr. Hartman did a great job .

I had a molar extraction and implant performed (at the same time) by Dr. Hartman and it actually was wonderful. At my normal dentist's office I would have had to have separate procedures for the grafting and the implant placement, but these simultaneous procedures are what Dr. Hartman does daily. I always felt that I was in knowledgeable and caring hands. The staff was great, plus they give you a really handy stretchy band and ice packs. It's the big things (experienced, caring staff) and the little things (hands-free icing post operation).

My son had 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Hartman recently. Everything went smoothly.Dr. Hartman was friendly and explained everything thoroughly. All staff members that we encountered were friendly, professional, and thorough as well.I had to call the answering service the next day (Saturday) to ask about pain management and Dr. Hartman got back to me quickly. He did not seem bothered at all that I had called on a Saturday, he was precise in his answer to my question, and the info he gave me was very helpful in getting my son through those first couple of days.

Had two impacted wisdom teeth removed at the Hartman Oral Surgery office by Dr. Sibley. Everyone I came in contact with at the office was very nice and helpful! The entire staff made me feel comfortable in an otherwise nerve-wracking situation. Before my surgery date I was called with a quote on how much the surgery would be so I didn't have to wait until the day of to find out. The check in process was very easy since I was able to fill out all of my paperwork online and in recovery they went over everything I needed to do once I got home. Two days later they called to make sure I was okay and if I had any questions. Would recommend this place!

The woman on the phone was incredibly rude and not helpful. When asking about insurance, she said, "We don't have anything to do with Medicare and if you don't like it, you can go somewhere else." Appointment canceled! What a shame as we've heard great things about Dr. Hartman himself.

Leaving 3 stars only because of the receptionist I've had to deal with. I had to be scheduled to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed plus a back molar. The receptionist was extremely rude when trying to schedule & wouldn't answer any of my questions. And I quote "well we can either schedule you something or you can go else where and figure it out." Dr. Hartman was amazing the entire way though explaining the process & details about the surgery. Post op the same receptionist called to "check up" and once again was greeted with very rude remarks. I simply asked a question and she immediately dismissed me and said it was normal and I was fine, told me to have a good day and hung up. For such an amazing place, I'd think they'd have a better front office staff. Definitely did not feel welcomed but thankful the surgeon could reassure me I made the right decision going to him.

DO NOOOTT VISIT THIS PLACE!!!!!!!! WORST ORAL SURGERY PLACE EVER. I GIVE ZERO STAR, NOT ONE. I WOULD GIVE -100 STAR IF I COULD. another dentist referred here for oral surgery because of infection issue in my wife's teeth. The doctor literally did nothing but identifying that there is an infection, which was already clear in the very first visit. But we went three times. They did biopsy, and said "oh, there is an infection". If there is an infection, why didn't they treat it? They said "they have to have be conservative on the issue to understand that better". So, in translation, "WE WANT TO OVERCHARGE YOU, THAT'S WHY WE ASKED FOR BIOPSY TO IDENTIFY WHAT'S ALREADY OBVIOUS". But this is not the worst one. Receptionists. the one whose name is Lisa. I asked her to send me an office note explaining how serious my wife's infection issue is. And she said she's gonna make it ready and mail it. Okay, but guess what happened? She mailed it (that's what she said, not sure if she really did) from mechanicsburg, we are in enola. so, the distance is just 15 minute drive. But it didn't arrive at our place. It's been more than a week since she mailed it (if she really did). So, Lisa is so capable agent that she wasn't even able to mail a simple document from mechanicsburg to enola. Later, l requested all medical records to get rid of this HORRIBLE PLACE and never come back. Lisa said the office note and medical records will be ready to pick up soon. The office note was more important, l needed for a different purpose urgently. I said the office note should be ready (because she said she mailed it), so l want to get the office note ASAP, can get the records later. But she said NO, l should get them together. When l asked WHY, she said "the office note has been shredded". Congratulations. At least you can shred a note. So, we waited for her and others working in this horrible place to make everything ready. When I said I will come to pick them up, they said "your wife should be here because these are the wife's records". I lived in TX, CA, previously, and asked our previous doctors to send our medical records to PA. They did it without any signature or requesting us to be physically be in there to get them in person. BUT YOU KNOW PEOPLE IN THIS PLACE ARE LAW ABIDING PEOPLE, THE REST OF THE US ARE CRIMINAL. THEY DO THEIR JOB PERFECT. AT LEAST THEY CAN SHRED A NOTE PERFECTLY AND CAN'T MAIL IT FROM MECHANICSBURG TO ENOLA. you think this is the worst? absolutely no. This place has the strictest covid protocol as far as my experience goes. When you arrived in this place, you can call them. and they only accept 1 person, although there are seats inside and you can seat by exercising social distance. but they don't accept multiple people. and you have to wait until they can respond to your call and make sure they are ready to accept you. it doesn't matter outside is freezing and you can get cold outside. it doesn't matter because they don't care if the patients are cold outside. because they are working inside you know, who cares. In addition, my wife sometimes needs translation of her words in explaining the things. So, l should enter the room also to help her explaining. But THEY DIDN'T ALLOW ME TO ENTER. WHEN MY WIFE NEEDED TRANSLATION, THEY CALLED ME, AND WE CALLED OVER THE PHONE. SO, THEY ARE SO PRACTICAL PEOPLE. THEY OFFER PATIENTS CONVENIENCY. THEY DON'T MAKE THEIR PATIENTS JOB HARDER (!!!!). OKAY LET'S COME TO THE WORST. We have picked up the documents. Guess what happened. THERE IS NO OFFICE NOTE. YOU KNOW THE NOTE WE ARE EXPECTING FROM LISA. THAT'S MISSING. There is only 1 or may be 2 sentence embedded in one of the medical records. We were expecting a real office note with doctor's signature to use that for something else as a proof. But it's missing. So, we waited a lot for the note, but Lisa successfully failed us. Sorry, not just Lisa, entire HARTMAN ORAL SURGERY FAILED US. Disappointed us. Plus they charged us around $1000 for basically NOTHING. what they did is simply to say "oh, there is an infection, we need to treat".

Absolutly terrible experience, went thereto have an inplant put in. I should have come out of there with 1 hole in my gum with an implant in it, Instead i have 3 gashes in my gums with 3 stitches in addition to the implant. It been a week still sore and swollen, can't wear my partial denture, hard to eat. Unless you are into undue pain, I would recommend going somewhere else.

I'd give it 0 if I could. Rude front desk staff. Then stopped me on the way out after an extraction for a $40 copay. You couldn't send me a bill? Not friendly at all.

Consulted with three separate oral surgeons regarding molar implant and so far, this office, has been very professional and courteous. Bone graph was quick and uneventful, just waiting 6 months for next step.
