Dr. Nathan Berrywas born in Augusta, Georgia (home of the Masters Golf Tournament!), and grew up across the Savannah River inNorth Augusta, SC. He attended theUniversity of Georgiawhere he earned his bachelor degree in biological sciences. Athens is also the place he met his wife, Teresa, whose family lives in Madison, CT.
After dental school, the couple moved to Virginia Beach, VA, where Dr. Berry practiced privately in a group practice until he and his wife became pregnant with their first daughter. This big change in their lives prompted the Berrys to want to move closer to family. While they decided between a move to Connecticut or South Carolina, Dr. Berry left his private group practice and devoted his time and skills to a clinic that treated the underserved children in the low income areas of Norfolk, VA. This invaluable experience with a mostly overlooked population changed Dr. Berry's life forever, and it was a time in his career for which he will always remain grateful.
Dr. Berry spent countless hours researching all aspects of the family's pending move, and he and Teresa finally decided to make their permanent home in Connecticut. Once he met the family at Hartford Dental Associates, he knew that West Hartford was where he belonged, and the couple made the move north. Since moving to Simsbury, the couple has had another child, a little boy. The Berrys now have their hands full with their two active offspring!

Yesterday, I had my first visit with Dr. Berry. I'd made an appointment for a cleaning, but while waiting for my appointment had a dental issue. Dr. Berry and all of the staff were terrific! They squeezed me into the schedule, made me feel welcome and relaxed, treated my issue, and left me smiling. Highly recommended!

Everyone from Kelly who's the receptionist, Zoey who's the hygienist and Dr. Berry made my treatment a very good experience. They are all very personable. I did not experience my usual anxiety of a dentist visit due to their patience and kindness. I highly recommend Hartford Dental Associates.

I've been going to HDA for several years now, and I'm extremely satisfied with all their care and services. I first showed up after moving to the area, and having not been to the dentist in a while. After the cleanings and fillings it was like night and day, and my teeth felt perfect. Dr. Berry was also able to squeeze me into the schedule for various things pretty much at the drop of a hat, which is service that can't go unnoticed. I also had a full Invisalign treatment and retainer, which they made an extremely fast and easy process. My teeth are levels above where they were before coming to HDA. Even after moving out of CT, they continued to support me and provide extra retainers whenever I needed. The staff is absolutely great too. They're incredibly nice and make the process easy. One of my jobs required a dental review and the staff were incredibly good about providing the necessary documents, all same-day without any notice. All procedures and customer care 10/10 for this place, would recommend.

I am very pleased to be a patient of Hartford Dental Associates! I am not so long in this location. This week I had a procedure in the clinic and need to admit that there was no pain at all. Hartford Dental Associates create a very comfortable clinic and friendly environment. And I feel my teeth become healthier!

Had my first appointment last week and it was an awesome experience. Adding all the chaos Covid is providing, Dr Berry and his staff made this an extremely pleasant experience. Mercedes was my dental hygienist and she was incredible. She took her time and explained everything to me and welcomed me into the practice. Megan was also extremely helpful with scheduling my appointment as well as helping me out with something post visit! Looking forward to coming back for my next visit and very happy being a patient of this practice!

Super friendly staff! Really detailed, and professional/useful tips on dental Care specific to me. Went through long and short term goals, and discussed treatment plans going forward. Loved the use of tech, putting x-ray and images on big screen that were easy to see and understand. Would highly recommend, and already have! Best dental experience I've ever had.
