Dr. Olson grew up in Central Wisconsin. He graduated from Adams-Friendship High School and then pursued his bachelors degree at UW La Crosse. Dr. Olson, his wife Tara, andtheir daughters Avery and Madelyn reside in ruralPortage. Some of his interests away from dentistry include hunting, snowmobiling,working on his land,and spending time with his family.
Dr. Olson enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. The wide range of diversity from children to elderly and crowns to dentures keep each day interesting and fulfilling. Dr. Olsonhashad extendededucationin oral conscious sedation, which allows him to provide quality dental care to even the most anxious patients.He also has additional certification and experience with dental implants whether it be for a single tooth or to assist with the fit of your denture or partial.
Dr. Brian grew up in the Caledonia bluffs just outside of Portage. He graduated from Portage High School in 2009 and pursued a degree in Biochemistry from UW-Madison, graduating in 2013. He then went on to Dental School at Marquette and graduated in May 2017. Dr. Brian has also completed advanced education in placing dental implants and botox therapy.
Dr. Brian and his wife, Danielle, live in the Portage area. His interests outside of dentistry include playing ultimate frisbee, paddleboarding, skiing, attending Packers games with his dad, and cheering on the Badgers!

Tara attended Western Technical College in La Crosse where she earned her associates degree in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising in 2002. She married Dr. Olson in 2006. They have two daughters, Avery and Madelyn. They also have a dog named Oliver.
Danielle and Brian live near Portage with their cat Marley and golden retriever Bango--go Bucks! They spend their summers exploring Wisconsin state parks, camping, paddle boarding, and disc golfing. In winter, you will find them almost every weekend on the slopes at Cascade Mountain, with the occasional get away to a mountain out west.
Mary has worked in the dental field since 2002. She joined our office in 2006 and became apatient account representative in 2008. Mary can help you plan all of your necessary dental care. Prior to her career in dentistry she worked for 13 years in the Veterinary field.
Mel has been working in the dental field since 2002. Shejoined the team at Hart & Olson in 2006 as a dental assitant and eventually transitioned to her current front office role. Mel's experience in both a clinical and business role give her a unique perspective of the patient experience. She enjoys helping patients understand their treatment plans and insurance coverage.
Deb joined our team in February 2015. She comes to us with 20 plus years of dental experience. Her prior years were spent with Dr. Rosin.Deb has recently accepted a positiontaking care of ourpatients at the front desk. She is the first friendly face you meet when you walk through our front door.
Lindzay is the newest member of our office, starting in September, 2019. She has worked in the Dental field for 3 years after graduating from Marian University with a B.S. in Business Administration in 2015. Lindzay takes care of patients at the front desk and can help with any dental insurance need.
Lonnie began his dental career in dental assisting. He was an assistant for 8 years with a Prosthodontist. Upon completion of hygiene school from MATC in Madison he worked for 1 year with a Periodontist where he received invaluable training. He joined Dr. Hart in 2004 after the move to the new location. Lonnie is currently coordinating our Perio Care and OSHA programs.
Tracy has worked for Dr. Hart for since 2005. She started working in the dental field as a Dental Assistant in 1988. She also gained experience at the front desk prior to returning to school to become a Dental Hygienist. After graduating she began her hygiene career at several other dental offices before joining the staff at Hart & Olson.
Renee began her dental career in 2009 as a dental assistant. In 2016, she graduated from Madison College with an Associates degree in dental hygiene. She joined Hart & Olson Family Dentistry in May 2017.
Renee graduated from Portage High School in 2005. She attended Madison College for the Dental Hygiene program and graduated in 2013. Renee has worked with patients of all needs and ages, and was most recently working in pediatrics in Madison until she joined our team in July, 2019.
Sara joined Hart & Olson Family Dentistry in November, 2020. She graduated Madison College in 2019 with an Associates degree in Dental Hygiene and spent a year working in Madison. She enjoys meeting patients of all ages and creating personal relationships with each one of them.
Sara grew up in Westfield, WI where she and and her fianc Evan now own a home. They have a chocolate lab named Cooper and a cat named Luna. Sara enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, traveling, and being outdoors.
Barb lives in Montello with her husband, Peter. They have 3 sons and5 grandchildren. Some of her favorite things to do are spending time with family and friends, sewing, traveling, camping, and reading.
Hali graduated from Portage High School in 2004. She went to MATC where she completed her dental assistant certification in 2009. Her education included clinical hours at Hart and Olson Family Dentistry.Hali workedwith us on a fill in basis from 2009-2014. She accepted a part-time position in January 2015.
Caitlin joined Hart and Olson family Dentistry in May of 2017 as Dr. Brians assistant. She started her career in the dental field in 2012 when she graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Madison College. Caitlin has 4 years of dental assisting experience prior to joining our team.
Kaylee joined Hart & Olson Family Dentistry in July 2020. She had 2 years of experience prior to joining our team after she was certified through a Dental Assisting course at Madison College in 2018. Kaylee enjoys making lasting relationships with her patients and coworkers.
Kaylee grew up in Pardeeville and currently lives in Endeavor with her boyfriend Bradley. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, baking sweet treats, and getting out in the fresh air.
