He has completed most of the curriculum at the Dawson Academy, one of the leading post graduate training and research facilities in the United States. Dr. McCool is a native of Tennessee. He and his wife, Angie were high school sweethearts and have been married over 38 years. They have two children and 1 grand child. One live in Statesboro, GA and the other lives in the Charlotte, N.C. area.

Lisa has been a dental assistant since 1979 after graduating from the IU School of Dentistrys Dental Assistant Program and Expanded Duties Program in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lisa has been with Dr. McCool for 16 years.
Vivian has been a dental assistant for 14 years. She attended the Atlanta College of Medical and Dental Careers receiving her diploma in Dental Technology. She was a dental technician for 17 years. Vivian has been with Dr. McCool for 11 years. She is married and enjoys giving back to the community.
Wendy has been in the dental field for over 40 years working as a dental assistant and then in administration. Wendy is married and has two grown daughters and four grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, swimming and spending time with her family.
Camelia graduated cum laude from Clayton State University with her Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene. Her professional goal is to treat you like family and help you achieve optimal heath as well as an overall physical well-being. She takes great pride in providing a high level of patient care while making everyone feel as comfortable as possible. Camelia uses the latest technology and a gentle technique to help all patients maintain a healthy smile. She enjoys spending time with her husband Ben, hiking, reading and playing sports. She also enjoys taking pictures of friends and family in her time off.

The diode laser is useful in a wide range of cosmetic and restorative dental procedures. Using the dental laser, Dr. McCool can gently reshape gum tissue without the use of anesthetic. This improves the appearance of the smile, creating a natural curvature of the gum tissue to frame the teeth.
The lasers are especially useful during treatment for periodontal disease or gingivitis thanks to antiseptic properties of the laser. The soft tissue dental laser can also be used to treat cold sores, benign tumors, frenectomy and more.
An NTI-tss is a small night-guard that fits comfortably between your teeth, preventing the teeth from coming into contact with one another and grinding. The NTI-tss device is FDA approved and reduces clenching and grinding by up to 66 percent.
The Prophy-Jet is an air polishing system that we use during certain dental cleaning treatments and other procedures. This devices uses a high power, powder slurry to remove stains, plaque and other soft debris from the surface of the tooth.

I've been a patient for over 20 years. I continue to see Dr. McCool and his team because I know my dental care matters to them; I'm valued as person, not just a patient, and it's genuine. He and his staff are meticulous with their work, stay on top of the latest technology (after the practice vetts it), and they make sure I'm comfortable at all times. Very pleasant office - like going to visit trusted friends, except your mouth is wide open, ha ha! Since I've been seeing Dr. McCool, Lisa and the rest of the team, I no longer dread dental visits. Is he the least expensive prosthodontist in town? No? Is his quality of work and patient care the best? YES.

Dr. Harry McCool performs unnecessary procedures, just for the money, without considering the wellbeing of the patient . His prices are unwarranted, unreasonable and extremely high.

Not happy and not impressed! I spent $170 for a consultation, and didn't even get a treatment plan because I declined paying him $180 for an x-ray. I told him I just wanted some crowns and a partial and he tried selling me on implants, which I do not have the bone to accommodate. He and his staff won't discuss pricing either. Very telling!!!

Outstanding work! From the moment you walk in staff is welcoming; Wendy is so friendly & always smiling. Dr. McCool is very open to hearing what he can do for you and not just telling you what needs to be done. He wants you to be happy with the entire process and not just the end results. His assistant Vivian is very in tune with him and they're very upbeat yet professional making you feel at ease. When working on my teeth Dr. McCool takes the time to do it right and I never felt like he was distracted or rushing to get to the next patient. Would absolutely recommend his office to anyone looking to be treated like a friend, with respect, and professionalism.

I just want to start off by saying that I owe Dr. McCool and his staff a huge apology. A few weeks ago, I jumped the gun and proceeded to write a review before gathering all of the necessary information needed to make an intelligent, accurate evaluation of his services. Since then, I have seen several dentists (not specialists) in my area. They all concurred that it is going to take a team of highly intelligent, specialized, experienced and very patient dental professionals to treat my dental issues. I purchased my first set of upper dentures from Dr. McCool years ago and they felt and looked spectacular. Unfortunately, about a year later my upper gums began to rapidly recede (which was absolutely not Dr. McCool's fault) and I had to purchase a second set. I want to emphasize the fact that Dr. McCool and his staff went out of their way to make sure my second set of dentures looked and felt as remarkable as the first. I know now that Dr. McCool and his team of highly experienced, warm and kind individuals are not to blame for my initial review. I am ashamed to admit that it was my lack of knowledge that influenced my opinion. I hope the entire staff will forgive me for speaking prematurely. Warmest Wishes, Katie Forester

I was under Dr. McCool's care when I was in high school, but college and early career took me away from Atlanta. I never found an office or dentist like this one. When I moved back I returned to Dr. McCool. The fillings and sealants I have gotten here have served me well, and I highly recommend this office.

Dr. McCool and his staff are knowledgeable and compassionate. Dr. McCool took as much time as was necessary with me, explaining options and recommending treatment. He can do that because ample time is allowed when scheduling appointments. The waiting room is not packed, and patients are seen timely. I suspect that is due in part to Wendy's dental practice experience. I had not been to the dentist in an embarrassingly long time, but Dr. McCool and his staff were very understanding and made me feel comfortable. Dr. McCool's commitment to excellence in dentistry, and his compassionate manner, are traits common to his entire staff. Dental Assistant Vivian is highly experienced and has made me feel comfortable at each visit. Vivian is clearly passionate about what she does, and cares deeply for people. She and Dr. McCool work together seamlessly during dental procedures. Dental Hygienist Camelia did a miraculous job cleaning up years of my neglect, and was kind and caring as she worked. Most importantly for me, I am no longer afraid of going to the dentist! I am confident that you won't be either once you get to know Dr. McCool and his staff.
