Dr. Goode is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry where he has begun fulfilling requirements to achieve the status of Fellow, an honor only a limited number of dentists accomplish over their careers. Dr. Goode is trained in Invisalign and looks forward to expanding his knowledge and skillset to serve his patients' needs with the highest level of expertise. Dr. Goode is also passionate about giving back to his community and is involved in the Missions of Mercy Project, which provides free dental care to underserved communities around Virginia and the country.
Outside of the office, Dr. Goode loves to spend time with his wife, Sarah, and travel to new places. Dr. Goode is passionate about exercising, especially running and cycling, and hopes to be a Kona Ironman and Boston Marathon qualifier in the near future. As a proud Virginia Tech alumnus, Dr. Goode is also a sports fan, and will always respond to 'Let 's Go!' with 'Hokies!'
My Mission: I enjoy creating order out of chaos, developing systems, building effective teams and creating a positive culture. My mission is to support, coach, empower and to provide resources to help people become the best version of themselves. I never sought after dentistry. Dentistry found me, providing an opportunity to utilize my background in education, my training in business and my heart for service.
Education & Professional Background: Jill graduated from Eastern Mennonite University with a Bachelor of Arts in English & Secondary Education. After several years teaching high school English, she found herself in dentistry. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Business Administration at Longwood University with an anticipated graduation in the spring of 2022.She is also a lifelong member of the American Academy of Dental Office Managers (AADOM).
Life & Hobbies: Jill says, 'my life outside of work centers on Faith and Family: my husband of 20+ years and my two young adult children. We love to vacation as a family, camping & hiking, visiting as many National Parks as we can. In my personal time, I enjoy gardening and volleyball.'
Education & Professional Background: Sheila graduated from Frostburg State University with a Bachelors in English Literature. After seven years of dental assisting, she pursued her dream of dental hygiene at Northern Virginia Community College, graduating with an Associates in Dental Hygiene in 2021.
Life & Hobbies: Originally from the mountains in Western Maryland, Sheila and her family just moved back to the Harrisonburg area. She says, 'I love spending time with my husband and 2 children, traveling and enjoying new experiences together.'
My Mission: To make all patients feel comfortable and at ease while giving them the best dental hygiene treatment. To educate each patient so they have the ability at home to improve and maintain oral health.
Education & Professional Background: Whitney started her dental career as a dental assistant for 5 years. She achieved a Bachelor of Science Degree from JMU and became a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2014.
Education & Professional Background: Yana has been a dental assistant for 17 years. She says, 'I love the challenges and the excitement that are involved in the dental field. Meeting and caring for the patient 's needs and making sure they leave with a smile on their face brings me great satisfaction.'

Education & Professional Background: Autumn is a Turner Ashby graduate, class of 2010. She then attended Blue Ridge Community College where she received an Associates Degree in Arts and Science in 2012. She continued her education at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia where she received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Autumn also attended MTC while in high school and completed the dental assisting program in 2008.
Life & Hobbies: Autumn was born and raised in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She lived in Virginia Beach for seven years, including the two she studied at ODU. In 2019 she returned to the Valley to be closer to family. In her spare time, Autumn enjoys riding motorcycles and traveling. She also enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with family and friends.
Education & Professional Background: Alex attended Massanutten Technical Center where she received a certification for Dental Assisting. She is currently pursing an additional certification as an expanded functions Dental Assistant.
My Mission: To always be 100% present for my doctor, my team, and my patients. To not only listen, but hear, and be aware of each of their needs. Stepping up as an advocate when necessary, all while providing the care they deserve.
Education & Professional Background: She completed the dental assisting course at Massanutten Technical Center 30 years ago, not knowing how passionate she would become about changing lives through smiles. Since then, she's completed countless hours of Continuing Education to expand her dental knowledge. Sheila recently became a Certified Dental Assistant and is pursuing the dental assistant expanded functions certification.
Life & Hobbies: Sheila says, 'I am Jesus-loving mother and G 'ma! My family and friends keep my life full. I spend as much time as possible in my kitchen, any kitchen really. And music is a must! One guilty pleasure...hockey; Go CAPS!!'
