My Mission: To make all patients feel comfortable and at ease while giving them the best dental hygiene treatment. To educate each patient so they have the ability at home to improve and maintain oral health.

Education & Professional Background: Whitney started her dental career as a dental assistant for 5 years. She achieved a Bachelor of Science Degree from JMU and became a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2014.

Where to begin...If I could give 10 stars I would. I have been searching for a local dentist for awhile now and after visiting 3 different offices I finally found a team that works best for me. My first great impression was with business associate Cynthia. She efficiently updated my personal information, insurance provider & built rapport by asking about the uniqueness of my last name. Second great impression was even though I was late for my appointment they were still able to see me right away. I've had an experience elsewhere that I've been on time and still had to wait 45 minutes before being seen. Third great impression was my hygienist Savannah. She was super friendly, gentle and informative. I am not versed in dentistry jargon but she was able to communicate in laymans terms what needed to be done and also the results. Fourth great impression was my interaction with Dr. Goode. He was professional, kind & chill. Respected my decision to pursue lingual braces & didn't push invisalign. Even offered to ask another local orthodontist if its a service they offer to save me a 1 hour trip. Fifth great impression was on my way out with business associate Whitney. She broke down an estimate of my treatment & the plan. Straight to the point & simple. I mentioned before in person that I should have came to smile makers first. Visiting 3 different places was a really big inconvenience but I'm glad I didn't settle & found a team that best fits my needs.

My husband had an appointment at 11 today to have a veneer glued back on. He showed up on time, but the lady at front desk turned him away because she claimed someone had called and rescheduled his appointment to two days prior. He told her that did not make sense, and even showed her the confirmation text he recieved yesterday (for TODAYs appointment), which would have been after the appointment he supposedly rescheduled to. He is in a lot of pain, but she claimed the dentist refused to see him. The entire appointment would have taken 5 minutes.

I go here alot. I have had braces three times and had a terrible experience all three of them . As soon as I met Isaac Goode my new dentist. I was so pleased with how things went and how comforting he was knowing I was now scared of dentist because of how bad my braces experience was . Then all of the staff are completely amazing . Definitely recommend and as to Olivia you rock girl sorry you had to deal with me but keep up the good work .

My 17month old son and I had first class service from the reception to dental hygienist and dentist. It was my sons first appointment and they used the time to make him feel comfortable, let him explore the equipment that he will see in future appointments and they gave me reassurance/advice for his dental health. I would highly recommend smilemakers for both kids and adults.

Isaac and his team were absolutely wonderful!! This was one of the most difficult procedures I have had, but was also one of the most comfortable ones!! They kept me in the loop the entire time and made me feel like I knew them on a personal level!
