Dr. Sarah McKnight earned her dental degree from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. During her final year of dental school, Dr. McKnight served in a community clinic dedicated to treating children. She quickly realized her love for pediatric dentistry and helping children build a foundation that would create good dental patients for life. Following dental school, Dr. McKnight and her family relocated to Charleston, South Carolina, so she could complete a two year residency in pediatric dentistry at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. McKnight is a board certified pediatric dentist. Along with her diplomat status in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, she continues her education through memberships to dental associations including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and several state and regional dental societies. Dr. McKnight practiced in Mesa, Arizona, for two years before taking over the practice from Dr. Greene and making Harrisonburg her home.
Dr. McKnight, along with her husband, Jeffrey, and their four children are excited about living in the Shenandoah Valley. They are enjoying the four seasons, hiking, eating ice cream, and watching football.

Love the staff and the facility decor. It could use a pick up in the toys in the lobby but keep the coloring/drawing station. But, over all I enjoy my kids going to see Dr. McKnight and my kids enjoy going there.

Love, love, love the team at Harrisonburg pediatric dentist! Both my girls have been going there for over 10 years and they have always been so nice to my kids and myself. They work with me and our crazy schedule and are always so accommodating. We started out seeing Dr. Green, but enjoyed Dr. McKnight after she took over so happily stayed. I've never have had any issues with going back with my kids during appointments. I definitely recommend the office!

Dr. McKnight should not be a pediatric dentist. She is very severe, rude, and hard. Doesn't let the parents to be present during the child's dental work!! A parent should always be able to be present and see what is being done to their kids, and be a comfort to children with their presence. Also, Dr McKnight schedules for kids to be put to sleep at the slightest excuse of them not being comfortable with dental appts. Just so she can put more money into her pocket. It was a traumatic experience for us and our kids to be at her clinic. After switching to a different dental clinic, we couldn't be happier! I was able to be present at kids' dental work appts, and it makes a big difference! Our kids are excited to go to the dentist now! Our new doctor is pleasant, good with kids, and works with us.

Dr knight was probably the most unprofessional dentist I've ever meet or was just in a really bad mood. No excuse for being extremely rude and prude. I'm not bringing my kids back again. Plenty of other choices around.
