Dr. Nate Henderson was born in Alabama and raised in North Carolina. He attended King University in Bristol, TN and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Biology and Chemistry in 2001. After teaching and coaching high school students for two years he attended the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where he received the National Student Implant Award from the Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and graduated with honors in 2007 to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.).
Dr. H has been married to his wife Katie since 2001 and they have three children. They moved to Chattanooga in 2007 and love being here. Dr. H enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, visiting the wonderful outdoors in Chattanooga, microfarming, watching Tarheel Basketball and being actively involved in the community
Amber, a graduate of Chattanooga State Dental Assisting Program, has enjoyed being a dental assistant and helping others maintain their oral health since 2004. She loves cooking, reading, spending time with family, and cheering for the LSU Tigers.Amber has worked at HFD for 7 years and now serves as our business manager! She will be welcoming her first child this spring!
Breanna is the first smiling face you will see when you walk in our office! She has been with HFD since 2019 and is cross trained to not only work in the front office, but is also a registered dental assistant as well. In her time off she enjoys going to the lake, cuddling with her malti-poo Copper, and if she isnt somewhere at a country music concert you can find her binge watching Friends or Parks and Rec!
Sherri has lived in Chattanooga her entire life.From Chattanooga State she received a certificate in Dental assisting, nitrous oxide administration and local anesthesia. She has a A.A.S degree in Hygiene. She also received her expanded functions certificate from UT Memphis. Sherri loves to travel in her spare time!
Monsey graduated with her Associates degree in Dental Assisting and has been with HFD since 2016. She also has certifications in dental radiology, nitrous oxide monitoring, coronal polishing, and sealants. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and watching Alabama football! Se habla Espaol!
Ariel graduated with her Associates degree in Dental Assisting in 2014 and has been with HFD for 3 years. She is married, has two children, and also has one fur baby Hoosier who is an English bulldog. Outside of work Ariel enjoys all things outdoors: hiking, running, swimming, and kayaking just to name a few!
Jaimie is a Dental Hygiene graduate from Chattanooga State, and is also certified in nitrous oxide monitoring and local anesthesia. She has been with HFD for 4 years. Outside of work Jaimie enjoys spending time with her husband and fur babies, hiking, kayaking, and taking road trips!
Becky has been with HFD for 2 years, but has worked in the dental field for over 50 years! She started out as a dental assistant, moved to office manager, and now handles the toughest part of the front office: insurance! Outside of work Becky loves to read and spending time with her dog Buddy!

I've been going to Dr. Henderson for about 12 years and he is an excellent dentist. I trust him completely in helping me make the best decision for dental work and he always explains the various options available. It's obvious he cares about his patients. Amazing staff too!

One would not expect that this unassuming building off Highway 58 would be home to an advanced dental practice, but Dr. Henderson has ensured it has been equipped with the latest. From the super quick digital x-ray to the water and laser plaque removal process, the entire semi-annual cleaning is quick and easy. The water and laser equipment means no more uncomfortable and lengthy scraping to remove plaque. Jaime is a delightful and skilled dental hygienist who immediately puts you at ease. The office staff is friendly and accommodating and they have a text reminder system that ensures you will never forget an appointment. Dr. Henderson is a native Southerner with impeccable credentials and he never pushes procedures but helps you to make the right decision at the right time. Highly recommend!

Everyone at Harrison Family Dentistry is AMAZING! They always go above and beyond to care for your dental needs. I personally don't know what I'm going to do when Dr Henderson retires because I'm terrified of the dentist, but him and his staff have always gone the extra mile to make sure I'm comfortable before I've had to have any procedure done.

I also want to thank the assistant that was helping Dr. Henderson today I believe her name was Aerial she's Absolutely wonderful and very helpful with such a great personality and very kind and caring they all are It's been a long time since I have been here but it was well worth the visit Dr. Henderson along with his staff always makes you feel welcome and Dr. Henderson always goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and do what ever he can to help you. Wonderful experience. I love that everything was clearly explained ahead of time. My husband also had a crown put on and they printed it at the office and put it on in the same appt. He also raves about the place.

I absolutely recommend Harrison Family Dentistry. Nobody enjoys going to the dentist and it's never a comfortable thing but the staff at Harrison Family Dentistry always do everything they can to make you not only comfortable but like family. Even getting a tooth extraction isn't as bad because they make sure you are as pain free as possible. They even have a program to help you save money if you don't have dental insurance. It's $299 for the year covers two cleanings and discounts any work you need to have done. If you want a dentist office that truly cares about their patients this is the place to go.

Honestly I was nervous when I first walked in but the staff were very pleasant it made me feel comfortable and welcome. The entire process was quick and easy and I'm happy to say that I found my new dentist.

I absolutely loved how well they cared and handled my child with love. They have the patience and it shows they really love what they do. i started going to them when my kid had his early teeth come in and i kept going. The technician he got was so loving and would teach him neat things about his teeth. The experience was always great and little to no wait every time i came in!
