Even those who brush their teeth three times a day and floss regularly need to see a dentist at least twice a year to ensure that tartar accumulation is removed and any potential problems are quickly diagnosed. People who are asymptomatic and pain-free may still suffer from gum disease or cavities, and early treatment is much easier and far more cost-effective.

Harrison Dental Group provides the services of a general dentist. General dentists are trained to treat a wide spectrum of oral health and cosmetic issues, including treatment for cavities, extractions, crowns, dental bridges, dentures, teeth whitening, smile makeover, and gum disease treatments. Drs. David and Keith Harrison have also been trained to provide dental implants and Invisalign orthodontic treatment.

Specialists like periodontists and oral surgeons typically provide a smaller range of highly specialized services. Harrison Dental Group works very closely with specialists in the area and refers patients to them when needed. Unless you have already identified exactly what your dental needs are, it is usually better to see a general dentist first.

Harrison Dental Group aims to make it affordable for you to see a dentist. We accept a number of insurance and financing plans and offer discounts for new patients. Because dental problems only get worse with time, it may be more difficult to afford not going to the dentist. If you are concerned about the affordability of dental care, please contact our office to discuss your insurance and financing options.

Your Invisalign trays will be nearly invisible to others due to their completely clear design using BPA-free plastic. This quality makes this treatment method highly desirable for many teen and adult patients. The aligners are so discreet, your close friends and family may not be able to tell you are receiving treatment.

Unlike traditional orthodontics, Invisalign offers an unparalleled level of comfort. Due to the use of smooth plastic, the aligner trays used for Invisalign treatment are much easier on the soft tissues of your mouth, especially when compared to the brackets and metal wires of traditional braces.

Invisalign aligners are removable when cleaning your teeth and eating, so there is no need to avoid sticky, crunchy, tough, or chewy foods. This allows you to brush and floss without any restrictions so you can maintain your oral health while working towards a more beautiful smile.

Once the doctors at Harrison Dental Group have created your treatment plan, we canprovide you with multiple sets of aligners. Unlike braces, which require frequent adjustments, this allows you to only have to visit our office once every six weeks so that our dentists can monitor the progress of your tooth movement.

After your Invisalign treatment is completed, you can begin to enjoy your new smile. With straight teeth and a healthy smile, many patients benefit from an improved sense of self-confidence and overall quality of life.

These diagnostic tools help us understand your smile and its needs while exposing you to the least amount of radiation possible. They also allow us to plan treatment more accurately and efficiently than ever before.

Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment that uses custom-made clear aligners to readjust your bite. In order to create your aligners, we will use digital scanning to take exceptionally precise impressions of your bite.

You will need to wear your trays 20 to 22 hours each day. About every two weeks, you will switch into a new set of aligners. Each set of trays is specially designed to gradually move your teeth into alignment.

When you reach your desired results, you will continue to wear your last aligner or a custom-made retainer every night. These orthodontic appliances prevent your teeth from shifting out of place and help you maintain your newly straightened smile.

A straighter smile can improve your oral health, but you will need to do your part by continuing to brush and floss regularly. You should also visit one of our Fort Wayne offices every six months so that our dentists can help you maintain a healthy smile for life.

They booked 8 different people for 4pm appointments in the world's smallest waiting room... The receptionist was insanely rude for no reason. She seemed more interested in calling other patients than being polite or offering any instruction to the patients standing in front of her. So I started the above review 3 months ago, and now I have more to say. My boyfriend and I went in for exams and cleanings. They refused to clean our teeth for some unknown reason. I've had the same insurance coverage with the same company for 6 years and never had to pay for exams, and yet somehow at this place they charged me $50 up front. They then told my fiance he didn't have to pay anything right now, but to wait for his bill in the mail. We both had fillings done the following week. This time I paid nothing, and he paid $75. Here's where it gets sketchy, They waited over a month to bill either of our insurance. (Appointments were in mid July) Then at the end of September we get a combined bill in the mail saying we have an outstanding balance of over $400. First of all, the statement was combined when we are not married, don't have the same last name, and are not under the same insurance plan. So.. that's not right. Upon reading this falsified statement, it shows that my insurance never paid anything, which means they messed something up. It also has all kinds of itemized "write offs" for various things, and then says we still have to pay those. The dates don't line up. It shows that they made him pay up front for his fillings, but then didn't bill his insurance until almost 6 weeks later. The whole thing seems fraudulent. On top of that, the tech that did my exam was extremely/ uncomfortably touch. Kept rubbing my shoulders and get way too close to my face. The tech that did my fiance's exam was very rude, standoffish, and judgemental. Literally made fun of me for being afraid of the dentist. Super unprofessional scam artists. Just don't go here.

Very displeased with treatment at Getz Road. It was recommended by one of their dentists that I get a tooth extracted in house at this location rather than going to an oral surgeon. It took two hours and two different dentists to extract a wisdom tooth. I understand that getting a tooth removed is uncomfortable, but this was beyond that. To me, it didn't seem like they were equipped with enough specialized tools for my procedure. Afterwards, another staff member even told me they recommended the oral surgeon if I needed anything else in the future... A much needed script for pain medication was supposed to be called into the pharmacy, but come to find out no one had called it in, until the emergency after hours number was contacted and did so. Even the doctor responding to that message ASKED when the pharmacy closes... Front desk staff were overheard talking ill and rudely about patients who had just left the office for the whole waiting room to hear. My wife has been a patient here for over 15 years and has seen this office dwindle in quality with the services.

I was so nervous, had high anxiety and just wanted to walk away from the whole process of getting my tooth extracted but Ariel at the front desk recommended the laughing gas. My goodness!! It was a great decision. Along with the assistant Cassandra, my daughter in-law and of the Dentist who did a great job, it was the best dentist appointment I have ever had... I was robbed pretty much by Harrison dental group today 3/15/22. I paid for a permanent retainer to be fixed. It had to be re-glued because there hygienist broke the glue on one side as she was flossing my teeth. I wanted to say something but thought the hygienist would have been honest and truthful that it happened on her watch and I didn't come into the office to have a broken retainer repaired. I also hate the way they do billing at the Getz rd. office. It's always been run through the insurance first and then patient pay the rest. I won't be going back. Travis Adams

I am terrified of any dental visit, but I was in extreme pain with a bad tooth. I put it off long enough. Not only did Harrison Dental get me into their office in 2 days, but my visit was very quick. The staff was absolutely amazing and friendly. I would recommend Harrison Dental to anyone needing a dentist. They have several locations as well. I have already made an appointment for a return visit.

I had a quick visit last week and was not impressed. One hygienist walked in and started a conversation with the hygienist who was attending to me, she then excused herself and walked out. The two we're talking about their evening plans and who all would be attending. One of the people attending, who I'm assuming was another employee, they didn't really like. At a different time during my visit, she walked out again and her and the other hygienist were discussing peoples names and mocking young people with old names (I have a much older name for my age). They proceeded to laugh and say, "how many Louise's did you know in high school? None!" At one point one of the hygienist was talking about how she didn't drink in high school at the parties. THEY WERE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. If I could hear it, I'm sure others could too and the Doctor at the time didn't correct either one of them. I'll definitely being using the Coldwater Rd location at all costs. Their staff is great!
