Your first visit to our practice establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information and give you time to get to know our staff. Our friendly staff is dedicated to caring for you and your entire family's oral health and well-being. We take the time to create a personalized treatment for each patient and we offer a wide range of services. It is our goal to make your visit with us an extremely pleasant one and to send you home with a beautiful and healthy smile.
Below is our New Patient Package that you will need to complete on your first visit. You can expedite matters by downloading the package, completing it at home and handing it to our staff when you arrive for your initial visit to our office.
Your first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with all we offer as well as introduce you to our caring staff. On your first visit, we will review your medical and dental histories and evaluate your oral health. We will take digital x-rays of your teeth and explain to you whether or not you will require any dental treatment.

Margarita Searfin was the registered dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth today. The dentist is not my favorite place to be. I usually feel anxious, but Margarita put my fears to rest. She was capable , confident and very gentle. I walked out the office feeling better than ever. I would HIGHLY recommend her to everyone.

I've been a patient of Dr. Valenti for many years. He's an excellent dentist and I highly recommend him. He's professional, calm, and very experienced. I've known Christine (his assistant) for a long time and she's the BEST! I've heard Dr. Val is excellent too! If you need a Dentist, call Harrison Avenue Dental, the entire staff is great!

I have been seeing Dr. D'Angelica for many years. She is very professional and has a very pleasant demeanor. Between her and her staff, a visit to her office has never been anything short of a pleasant experience. Notices sent when its time for a checkup are very helpful to me.

Fabulous experience at Harrison Dental Associates. The front desk staff welcomed me by name and the assistant brought me back to the doctor before I was able to sit down in the waiting room. Dr. D'Angelica was thorough and calming. Highest recommendation.

Dr. Darrell Valenti is an exceptional dentist. He has been our family dentist for many years. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, kind and he is deeply concerned about his patients. Darrell and his wife, Val are the best. They make you feel so comfortable from the moment you walk in the office. Darrell is kind, thorough, sincere and knowledgeable and he is always fun to chat with. His assistant, Christine, is also really lovely. She was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable in the chair. To top it off the office is clean, cozy and welcoming overall. I definitely recommend this place to anyone for their dental needs!!

Dr. Valenti is wonderful! I have always been severely dentophobic and had avoided dentistry for far too long. A few weeks ago an old filling broke and it needed immediate attention. My wife has been going to Dr. Valenti for app. 5 years at the recommendation of a good friend and colleague. I told Dr. Valenti about my fear and he took the time to speak to me and put me at ease. He and his assistant Christine were wonderful. I did not feel any pain and only the slightest pinch when he numbed the area. I went back a week later for a cleaning and a check up and his manner is very reassuring and down to earth and was in no way pushy. Part of my phobia was feeling ashamed and fearing reproach from the doctor. Dr. Valenti was very understanding and empathetic and did not chastise me for my dental neglect. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Valenti for helping me through this severe phobia and getting me on a track to better dental health.

When it comes to going to the dentist, I have a lot of anxiety that has only worsened over the years by overly aggressive dentists. Dr. Valenti is different. He is conservative in his approach to treatment and I never feel as if he's trying to scare me into dental work. I truly appreciate the entire staff and willingly drive out of the city to see him. You won't be sorry if you make an appointment.

Dr. D'Angelica is by far one of the best dentists ever. She is so good at what she does, has worked with my fear of needles, and her assistants and staff are the best. They are always so caring and compassionate. Truly have hearts of gold. I will never go anywhere else to have my teeth cared for.

I had a problem with a tooth for years! When I would bite down on the left side of my mouth, there was a sharp pain!! My former dentist took X-rays, looked, and poked around in my mouth and couldn't find anything wrong. Dr. Valenti examined my mouth and my problem didn't show up on the X-rays... but when he looked on my mouth with these magnifying spectacles, he noticed a very slight "hair-line" crack in the tooth that was bothering me!!! He put some bonding material and covered the crack to perfection!! Now I bite down pain free!!! Dr. Valenti and his entire staff make me feel like FAMILY!! I love going to the dentist now!!

We have been going to Harrison Dental for over 5 years now...ever since my oldest son began regular dental visits at age 4! All 5 of us are conistently treated with warmth, kindness and professionalism. The office is spotless, comfortable and we've never waited more than 5 minutes. We are greeted by staff with a smile and every single employee knows us by name. There is no reason to ever go anywhere else...we found the best!
