Dr. Harris has lived in Florida most of her life, and she attended the University of Florida for her college and graduate education. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Adam. They have a daughter, Hannah and a son, Charlie. Dr. Harris and Adam are proud to be an active part of the DeLand community, and they look forward to many more years here.
Dr. Harris is honored to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on youth and adults through her profession as an Orthodontist. She has always been involved in activities with children and teenagers, because she truly enjoys spending time with them. She genuinely cares about each and every patient, and she loves to see a new smile improve a patients happiness and self-esteem. Dr. Harris considers the relationships built during the orthodontic journey to be invaluable. This is a belief shared by our entire office, and it is one of the main reasons our office has such a wonderful reputation. Dr. Harris is dedicated to continuing to provide the highest quality of care to our community.

We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
I graduated from DeLand High School, and enjoy camping, boating, and spending time with my familyand friends. I enjoy working in Orthodontics becausethe change that occurs not only in our patients smilesbut also the way they feel about themselves neverceases to amaze me.

I love working in Orthodontics because you gain a special relationship with each and every patient you work with. When their transformation at the end is complete its a great feeling to see their reactions and know we helped with that. I love that feeling!

I've been to 2 other orthodontists and while they weren't bad per se, Dr. Peter Shih and staff are top notch! They are gentle, caring, and after a few visits, they begin to feel like they're your family. If I had to do this all over again, I would have clearly gone with this Orthodontist.

Great experience with great staff. Doctor Shih was very attentive and personable.Carly was so sweet and helpful making sure everything was perfect and I was happy with the entire process and outcome!

Everyone is SO nice. I'm so glad I decided to come here.. as a child my husband had his braces by Dr. Stein, our daughter came and had Dr. Harris.. and it was pretty cool as Dr. Stein came back and had removed her braces. As an adult I was nervous but thought it is my time. During that time Dr. Harris was leaving... oh no... change! Lol- BUT I couldn't be happier that I decided to stay and have Dr. Shih take care of my new teeth! The ladies at the desk are the nicest and so all are the techs. Over all they deserve a 10- TEN!! Thank you and your team for being amazing!!

My family has been going here for around 9 years and this is my second phase of braces. All the staff is very nice! The doctor is very thorough!

You walk in and immediately feel like family. Friendly, Knowledgeable, caring and welcoming staff. You can't ask for anything better. Beautiful, clean, comfortable and kid friendly office. So happy. Dr. Shih is AMAZING!
