Dr. Harris grew up in Burbank, California, where he moved with his parents and sister at the age of 4. After graduating from John Burroughs High School, he moved to Utah to attend school at Brigham Young University. After a year there, he took a break from school and served a two year mission for his church in Paraguay, South America where he met his future wife. After finishing up at BYU, he took his wife and son to Omaha, Nebraska where he attended Creighton University School of Dentistry.
Dental school proved to be both challenging and rewarding. Dr. Harris loved the idea of getting out and doing the things he was learning. While visiting one of his wifes friends in Glendale, Arizona, they fell in love with the Arizona weather. Immediately following graduation in May 1998, he took a job in Phoenix and made the long trek westward, now with a 4 year old son and a two year old daughter.
Dentistry was fun and interesting, and within a year, Dr. Harris started to seriously consider purchasing his own practice. He learned of a dental practice for sale in Yuma and decided to purchase it. Avenue A Dental Care was purchased from Dr. Soltani in August 1999. In 2008, an opportunity arose to purchase his own building on Catalina Drive. Since he was no longer located on Avenue A, he changed his practice name to Harris Family Dentistry. He has enjoyed practicing dentistry in his own building ever since.

Well life happens. Had to cancel an appointment and the broad at the receptionist desk gave an attitude. I informed her my wife couldn't drive due to her medical disability and I got stuck at work. She stated we would no longer be allowed to schedule any appointments with their office. Dang! Glad I didn't spend any money here. No wonder why people leave Yuma for their dental work

Had my first appointment and everyone there is absolutely amazing, professional, and friendly! Everything I'd hoped for when going to a new office. Honestly recommend their services. They are taking plenty of precautions with Covid times too.

Just had two crowns done at Dr. Harris' office and the job was fantastic. This is the day after my treatment and my bite feels great, the teeth look great, and I highly recommend this doctor and his associates!

I have feared the Dentist chair ever since I was a child. For that reason I have stayed away for the last ten years. Finally, after several broken teeth, a few cavities and in serious need of cleaning, I decided to "bite the bullet" and have them fixed. Dr Harris and his staff completely changed my attitude about dental work. During my initial and subsequent visits, they immediately put me at ease with their courteous and friendly demeanor. During my longest and most difficult procedure, I was kept informed about what was happening at each step along the way. The Hygienist, Techs and Dr. Harris were all very gentle while working on my teeth. I still have a few procedures needing to be done, but I no longer stress about my upcoming appointments. I highly recommend Harris Family Dentistry in Yuma.
