Jonathan Harris grew up in Ripley, West Virginia, where he became interested in dentistry by shadowing at his fathers dental practice. After graduating high school, Dr. Harris attended West Liberty State College in West Liberty, West Virginia, where he was a four-year track and cross country athlete. While attending college he also met his future wife, Nicole. In 2003, Dr. Harris graduated from West Liberty State College with a BS in Biology and a BA in History. Upon graduating he was accepted into West Virginia University School of Dentistry, where he earned his DDS degree in 2007. After graduating from dental school Jonathan was selected as an associate at a family dental practice in Anderson, South Carolina before he and Nicole moved back to the Ohio Valley in 2008. Dr. Harris then worked as an associate in Marietta, Ohio before embarking on his own practice in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Dr. Harris and his family (wife Nicole and three children, Sylvia, Alexandria, and Jack) currently reside in Williamstown, WV.
For over 10 years Dr. Harris has been committed to furthering his practice with compassionate care and continuing education courses in new advancements in dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2011, Dr. Harris was recognized as one of Americas Top Dentists by SLD Industires, Inc.

Our friendly and gentle manner will help your child feel at ease in our care, and having a positive dental experience during childhood can encourage a lifetime of good oral habits. We strive to make your childs dental visits comfortable, comprehensive, and most of all, fun!
We go above and beyond the American Dental Association (ADA) and OSHA recommended standards for cleanliness and safety. Before your visit, we disinfect all of our equipment in a designated area with state-of-the-art sterilization technology. We also thoroughly sanitize each room between patients. We worry about the cleanliness of our office so youll never have to.

I have been going to Harris Family Dentistry for years. They are good to work us in with emergency. The office is very clean and the staff is very friendly. They are like family to us.

I was worked in quickly with a broken tooth when I learned my regular dentist had retired! The entire staff was welcoming, I felt very comfortable.

Called to ask if they took my insurance, got an answer, went to ask a follow up question and the lady hung up on me. Unprofessional.

they referred us to an place to Morgantown WV. That charges 7000 dollars for two teeth to be pulled from an childs mouth and the place uses hand restraints to do the procedure. Unethical. Be careful going to Harris from what we experience.

I came to Dr. Harris on a recommendation for a second opinion on my 10 year old daughters teeth. I was being directed by my orthodontist to go in a certain direction with the care of her teeth that I didn't feel comfortable with. I consulted with Dr. Harris about the situation and he was very thorough in answering all of my questions and concerns. He really took the time to explain things to me at length so that he was sure I was comfortable with the information. I have since come to him with other dental situations and questions and have been highly satisfied with his thoughtfulness and approach to care.

Dr. Harris and his staff are professional, caring, warm and welcoming. My children (10, 8 and 7 years old) look forward to dentist appointments and always leave with a smile and a goody bag! All 3 of my children want to go back for Cleaning's on their own and make me stay in the waiting room. As a parent, I would never let my children do this if I didn't have complete trust and faith in the hygienists and Dr. Harris. Everyone from the office staff, the hygienists, dental assistants and Dr. Harris take time to make you feel comfortable, appreciated and relaxed during the entire visit. Our family has been going to Harris Family Dentistry for 3 years, I can honestly say I have found the best dentist in the area and I have no plans of ever going to another. I tell all of our friends and family about Harris Family Dentistry!

I found this Dental Practice to be excellent. The staff are very professional and caring. The entire atmosphere makes you feel welcomed and at ease from the time you walk in until you leave. Dr. Harris is the best.
