Knowing that going to the dentist can be stressful, I chose to practice dentistry because I wanted to provide dental care that was compassionate, in a welcoming and comfortable environment. I believe its important to get to know my patients, so I take time learn about their needs or concerns and educate them on how to best care for their oral health.
Whether its a childs first visit, a preventive checkup or helping a patient achieve their best smile, I specialize in a variety of dental services. This includes orthodontics, pediatrics, implants, cosmetic and general dentistry. The field of dentistry is constantly evolving, so Im dedicated to advancing my training in each of these areas by regularly participating in continuing education courses.
Born and raised in Brookfield, Wisconsin, I graduated from Brookfield Central High School and continued my education at Marquette University. Im a proud graduate of Marquette, earning both my undergraduate degree and DDS. I am also very proud to be continuing the legacy of high-quality dental care started by Drs. Paul and Dean Copoulos.
I also believe in giving back to those less fortunate, so I volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and Wisconsin Dental Associations Mission of Mercy, and I regularly participate in international mission trips to provide emergency dental care. Also of particular interest to me is brittle bone disease. Ive published a chapter on providing dental care for patients with this rare disease and continue to help those suffering from the disease by volunteering with Shriners Hospital in Chicago.
During the summer of 2018, I accepted a position as Adjunct Associate Professor at Marquette University School of Dentistry. I'm very excited to have an opportunity to share my clinical knowledge with the next generation of Marquette Dentists.
Dr Harris is so gentle. I did not know when she pulled a tooth. She is excellent in keeping my oral health in check always pleasant, always caring. Jenny (dental hygienist) is excellent in cleaning my teeth never any pain!
Most people dread going to the dentist but because of how Dr Harris and her staff treat you, it feels like you are truly a part of the family and its much less stressful to go to the dentist! I recommend Dr Harris to all my friends!

Dr. Harris, Jenny and Becky make you feel so special, as they are very knowledgeable and professional . They are very gentle and talk you thru everything they are going to do. I would highly recommend Dr. Harris's team.

Dr. Harris has been my dentist for a few years now and with having some work done recently, it really made me appreciate how gentle her work is. I really enjoy having her as my dentist. Her assistants rock too.

I have been going to this dentist for 5 years and the original dentist since I was 30. Dr Harris embodies Modern Dentistry and defines customer service! Incredibly happy wonderful staff will remain with her and her staff for a very very long time!

My children and I have never been happy to go to the dentist but going to Dr Harris has changed our viewpoint! She and their staff are professional, knowledgable and truly care about their patients. Dr Harris makes sure that our experience going to the dentist is not scary but warm and inviting. She and her amazing staff go the extra mile to ensure that we are satisfied with our care! Dr Harris also did an amzing job on my daughter's orthodontics as well including fixing a front tooth that was broken off at a grade school playground accident. You can't even tell that she has half her front permanent tooth repaired.

My kids and I just recently started going to Harris Family Dental. They had such a great initial experience that they were asking me when they could go back for another dentist appointment! You know everyone was super friendly and fun when your kids want to go back to the dentist ASAP! Everyone was great, I will definitely be recommending this practice to everyone.

Dr Harris is an incredibly great Dentist. All the work she performs is excellent. I have had multiple different types of issues and I highly recommend this family dentistry. Her staff, from hygienists to receptionist are also caring and competent.

Very professional and friendly place. All workers are qualified and along with Dr. Harris are always in a process of studying. They do great job to support conditions of my teeth, but the most impressive for me is they began recreational work on my husband's teeth from poor conditions. It's just an innovative methods and I see him happy and confident again.

I have been seen at Harris Dental for about 6 years. She and all of her staff are wonderful. I have had different hygienist, each one I have confidence in. The level of my satisfaction can be gauged by the number of people I have referred to this office and each one has told me how nice staff is.

Today was my first visit to Harris Family Dental. The office was modern and very clean. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely cared about my comfort. I've been seeing Dr. Harris for 3+ years and have had nothing but positive experiences at Harris Family Dental. I'll admit, teeth cleanings and dental work give me considerable anxiety. Before yesterday I had not gone to the dentist in 3 years because I did not have a great experience with my last dentist but I cracked a tooth and needed help. I was highly recommended to Harris Family Dental through a friend and I am so glad I went! Everyone on staff was amazing to me from Kasey at the front desk, to the hygienist who treated me (Megan) to Dr. Harris. They were friendly, thorough, and what was really great is Dr. Harris took the time to explain exactly what was going on with my teeth in Layman's terms and offered multiple treatment options. I am blown away by the Harris Family Dental practice.

I have known Dr Heather for a long time. In addition to being a fantastic dentist, she is a very kind, caring and genuine person. She chooses her staff carefully, and her practice has a very close, friendly atmosphere. As an added bonus, her facility has been completely remodeled and is equipped with the latest in dental and X-ray technology, and also air filtration. We receive top notch care here, and my entire family looks forward to our visits! My young daughters feel very at ease and comfortable, even with procedure requiring anesthesia. Dr Heather and her amazing staff treat us like family!
