Dr. Baber graduated cum laude from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School at San Antonio with research honors and additional elective education in implant dentistry, endodontics, and managing dental emergencies. He received the award for Most Outstanding Implant Education and was on the Deans List. Prior to dental school, he earned a bachelors degree in chemistry from Baylor University and a masters degree from the Texas A&M College of Medicine in Medical Sciences.
Dr. Baber has gained experience in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and working with elderly populations by working in various clinical settings. In an attempt to provide quality care for his patients, Dr. Baber actively pursues continuing education above what is required to maintain his dental license. He is a Fellow in the American Dental Implant Association, a rare award given based on many hours of education and the completion of several clinical cases. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the American Dental Implant Association.
Dr. Baber has fond memories of living on the familys farm outside Waco as a young boy and is grateful for the opportunity to return to the central Texas area and settle down with his wife and two sons. Dr. Baber and his family enjoy outdoor activities, including mountain biking, kayaking, and fishing.
Average is never enough for Dr. Nguyen. She takes great responsibility for the dental health of her patients and strives to exceed excellence in dental care. This drive started early when Dr. Nguyen made her way to Texas from Wisconsin to earn her bachelors degree in biology from the University of Houston in 2011, graduating Magna Cum Laude (with high honors). She became Dr. Nguyen after achieving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the reputable Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Arizona. While in dental school, Dr. Nguyen was voted the most compassionate student in her suite and was committed to patient comfort and care.
Dr. Nguyenis known for her compassionate nature,gentle touch, and clinical skills. She oftenhelps patients overcome their dental anxiety and help patients feel confident about their smile again. Since becoming a dentist, Dr. Nguyen has taken many hours of continuing education classes to keep up-to-date with patient care and treatment.
When the white coat comes off, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful daughters. She enjoys the small and large things in life and enjoys trying new restaurants and food, loves animals, and video games.
Kristen grew up Plainview, Texas and Robinson, Texas. She graduated from Robinson where she, her husband, young son, and two little dogs currently live. She likes dancing, playing soccer, running, and enjoying other outdoor activities. She and her husband are die-hard Rangers fans. Kristen wears many hats in the office, including those of an insurance expert and general office manager.
Shawna grew up Central East Texas and graduated from high school in Centerville. She holds a degree in dental hygiene from Temple College. Currently, Shawna, her husband, and young daughter call Axtell home. She is passionate about dental hygiene and being well educated and up-to-date on comprehensive hygiene care, including the best uses of auxiliary devices such as Waterpiks, powered toothbrushes, and agents to help prevent decay, gum disease, and dry mouth.

I am a total chicken when I go to dentist. Harris Creek was wonderful. Very patient and understanding. I would recommend them to anyone. I live in Waco so it's a short drive down Hwy 84, but worth every mile!

Dr. Baber and his staff are excellent! I have had 1 new crown put on and 1 crown replaced by Dr. Baber, he truly cares about his patients and ensuring the procedure was pain free. They made me feel at ease having the work done and I definitely recommend Harris Creek Dental for all of your dental needs.

Dr Baber and Kristen make a visit to the dentist a good experience. We had just had a very bad dentist experience when Dr Baber came to Harris Creek. We are so happy with the care they have provided our family. Very professional,friendly and you do not feel rushed out the door. I've been to both practice locations in McGregor and Grosebeck, and both are very nic e modern facilities. Dr. Baber is very knowledgeable and not overly pushy to juice the bill. He works with you and your constraints.

Dr. Baber is good and thorough. He and his staff are friendly and appointments are made promptly. My wife and I have been patients for nearly 2 years when we moved into the area and we recommend him to friends.

Great, friendly staff in a family oriented atmosphere and Doctor B is the best. Painless dental work and everyone is very attentive to patient needs and comfort. He's got all state of the art equipment and I highly recommend this practice. Go visit 'em. You'll be glad you did.

I had some oral surgery done in Fort Worth for an implant, but was moving south towards Waco and needed a Dentist to complete the crown and other various work. One of the dental assistants in Fort Worth mentioned that a new patient had just given them the card of her previous Dentist in Waco because he had been such an excellent doctor. So my referral for Dr. Baber actually came from one of his former patients. I was not disappointed, Dr. Babe delivered on his excellent recommendation. No pain. No discomfort. There were a couple of times that I had to rearrange the schedule due to my job, and his assistant worked with me each time to get me in at a time that was convenient for me, particularly since I lived 45 miles away. I also had my teeth whitened at a vary reasonable price!!

I recently went to Harris Creek Dental for a checkup and cleaning. I was very pleased by the very relaxed yet professional atmosphere at the dentistry. Dr. Baber is excellent and overall I would recommend this service to anyone that is looking for a new location.They accepted both of my insurance benefits for full payment of the services, which was a big plus for me since I am on a pretty tight budget. I have now advised my spouse to make an appointment with Dr. Baber.
