She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She graduated Cum Laude and was also honored by the American College of Prosthodontics. She also served as a bench instructor helping teach first and second year students. Dr. Harr received her undergraduate degree from Wheeling Jesuit University. She majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Harr was also valedictorian at St. John Central High School.
Dr. Joy L Harr is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Eastern Ohio Dental Association, West Virginia Dental Association, and the Wheeling District Dental Association.

I visited Dr. Harr for a chipped tooth and loose filling. Dr. Harr not only took the time to explain everything she was going to do, when we were all done she explained what she did and why. I honestly can say this was the beat dentist visit I have had. Her staff is extreemly friendly and knowledgeable and Dr. Harr is the best!! I highly recommend her.

Horrible treatment mean rude and pushy dds don't recommend her the office secretary very rude mouthy and ignorant person dds joy is pushy tried making me pay more of copay then I had paid before rip offs

I have a very shy 4 year old when it comes to any doctor. I was beyond nervous about her first trip to the dentist. Dr. Joy and her staff over exceeded our expectations with our daughter! Dr. Joy and her staff are wonderful! They are very pleasant and kind!! My husband and I have even switched!! We are very pleased and we recommend Dr. Joy!!

Dr. Harr is an excellent dentist, who is very knowledgeable and efficient. She is very kind and it is obvious how much she cares for her patients. My husband and I have never had better treatment at any dental office. The staff is extremely professional and very friendly. I would recommend Dr. Harr to everyone. Five stars across the board.
