Raised in East Bay, Dr. Harper received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, and his orthodontic certificate from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas., School of Dental Medicine.
Since 2008, Dr. Harper has provided high-quality orthodontic care in Martinez . He believes patient/doctor relationships are of upmost importance in achieving awesome results. As a patient, you are like extended family.
Dr. Harper has been married to Lexie since 2013 and together they have two sons, Cade and Emerson. In his time off, he enjoys golfing, working out, running and frisbee golf. He also has a real life doppelganger, his identical twin, Dave! Most of all he enjoys raising and spending his time with his boys.
Lexie is a Certified Dental Assistant and our Financial/Treatment Coordinator. She has been with our practice since 2008. Lexie enjoys working side by side with our patients. She gets satisfaction from seeing our patients grow into confident individuals as orthodontics takes effect. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with their 2 sons, Cade and Emerson.
Nicki is a Registered Dental Assistant who has been with the practice since 2003. She likes working in a fun and friendly atmosphere and interacting with patients. She also enjoys seeing the great outcome of our patients awesome smiles. When she is not at the office, she loves to spend time with family and friends.
Melissa is a registered dental assistant and has been in the dental field for 16 years. She has been part of the Harper Orthodontics team since 2016. Melissa enjoys interating with our patients and seeing orthodontic progress throughout treatment. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her son, Aiden, their dogs, and her extended family.
Traci is our financial coordinator and has been at our office since 2012 but in the dental field for 24 years. Working with Dr. Harper and his team has been the best experience in her time working in orthodontics. She enjoys the challenge offered with billing and collections as well as working side by side with parents to maximize their orthodontic benefits. Away from the office Traci loves motorcycle riding and adventurous hikes with her husband.

Dr. Harper is fantastic. He knows orthodontia and will give you the best treatment plan. He's really good with people -- adults, kids and teens! I am really happy with how my son's teeth turned out.

I was told by our dentist that my son should see an orthodontist for a few areas of concern. I met with a couple of different ortho's and Dr. Harper's approach really stood out. He didn't immediately go to the most extreme care option, instead to approach the issues more holistically. Additionally, every staff member I have encountered here has been very kind and professional. I'm very glad I chose this practice!

We were referred to Dr. Harper from our trusted dentist of 20 years. Kid friendly office with video game that you can win as a prize! We went to one appointment and Dr. Harper was kind, professional (clearly explained our options), and personable. My daughter was excited to see him for our second appointment (good thing since we will be seeing Dr. Harper more often).
