Harold Slutsky, DMDgraduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1985 and completed a residency in orthodontics at New York University in 1987. Prior to entering dental school, he attended New York University and graduated cum laude after only three years of college at the age of 20. Dr. Slutsky was a member of the NYU seven-year Bio-Dental program and has been practicing in Mayfair since 1987.
Dr. Slutsky is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthodontics at Temple Dental School and is course director of three courses: the Junior Dental Student Lecture Series, the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency Lecture Series, and the Second Year Orthodontic Resident Clinical Lecture Series. He also is a Visiting Scholar at New York University where he periodically lectures to residents, faculty, and alumni. Dr. Slutsky has also lectured nationally to orthodontists, general dentists, residents, and students. He is a published author in several peer-reviewed dental journals. He was voted Best of Phillyfrom 2012-2022in Philadelphia Magazine for orthodontists.
Dr. Slutsky is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Only one in three orthodontists is board certified. Board certification in this specialty requires extensive preparation. The practitioner must first pass a difficult examination and then appear before a board of nationally respected orthodontists to present various cases that he has treated. The biggest benefit of being a Diplomate is the tremendous self-evaluation which the orthodontist undergoes and the real world knowledge gained from successfully treating such a wide spectrum of cases.
Dr. Slutsky is a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, American Association of Orthodontists, Pennsylvania Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Philadelphia County Dental Society.
Originally from Bronx, New York, Dr. Slutsky has lived in Montgomery County since 1987. He has been married since 1986 and has two children. In his time off, Dr. Slutsky enjoys swimming, running, and reading.

Dr.Slutsky is very nice and knowledgeable. He was able to squeeze me in for an appointment which I appreciate so much since I'm in school (clinicals) right now. His staff is always very nice as well. No complaints! I see him for in-house clear aligners and so far, so good! My teeth are looking straighter and it's been a very easy process. I'm almost done the process and my teeth look great! It took just over two years and would have been less time if I didn't break my front teeth diving in a pool. Even through that, the Dr. and staff have been so accommodating and helpful and I get my retainers next week!

This is my second time that I've gotten braces. I didn't like the first time I got them done at another practice so I went here. A lot better service and very friendly staff! Dr. Slutsky was also great and listened to my opinions as well. I am very happy with the outcome and my smile is a lot better now compared to a year and a half ago!

Worse receptionist ever! Always placed on hold for 15 minutes and more,once they pick up again they just simply hangs up and won't answer again. Could never get my questions answered on general information.
