As the daughter of a dentist and granddaughter of a dental lab technician, Dr. Jennifers exposure and interest in dentistry began at a very young age. She has always been passionate about oral health and has now committed her career to serve the oral health needs of pediatric patients. She is very excited to help your child achieve their optimal oral health, and set them up for a lifetime of A+ dental visits!
Dr. Jennifer completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California Santa Cruz with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavior. She then completed a Masters degree in Biomedical Science at Barry University. She completed dental school at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine where she was awarded the AAPD Predoctoral Award for Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Jennifer has traveled to Cusco, Peru, and Grenada with other dental students, where she provided pediatric dental care. While there, she realized that the unique needs of pediatric patients and the challenges of providing pediatric care- were a worthwhile, rewarding, and meaningful field in which to focus her talents as an oral healthcare provider. Finally, Dr. Jennifer completed a two-year Pediatric Dental Residency at the NYU College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Jennifer moved to Portland, OR in 2017 with her husband, a general dentist in the North Portland area. They now have a beautiful son named Ezra Alpine. Dr. Jennifer loves to explore and immerse herself in this Pacific Northwest community. When not in the office, you can find her at Mt Hood, eating lots of good food, and experiencing all that her neighborhood has to offer!

I won't take my kids anywhere else, amazing staff and very patient and kind to the kids. My little one was scared of the dentist but now she ask when she can go back!

This was a great dental experience for our kids. The hygienists were great with our boys (3 & 4) talking them through what they were doing so they were understanding of the appointment. Dr. Shirley was great in talking through their teeth with me as the parent. The tvs on the ceiling help, too. And they said they cant wait to go back. Glad we were referred here by our dentist. Some kids needs that kid environment vs the regular dentist.

Our experience at Harmony Pediatric Dental Clinic could not have been better! Dr Shirley and Bianca were so patient with my 7 year old who struggles with anxiety in the dental chair. The visit ended up being an extraction that we were not expecting, but everything went so well and we were so grateful for their expertise and consideration. The office is beautiful and the staff were all very kind and well trained to work with children. Highly recommend!

I really am happy to have found this pediatric dentistry, they are patient, caring and make the child feel safe as they do whatever procedure, I have all my children come to this clinic and I have had all good experiences. The Dr. Shirley is great with the kids and explains everything so well.

Amazing helpful friendly people. My kid is autistic and I'm suprisesd they did an outstanding job working with him. Very helpful showing and explaining the condition of your kids teeth. I definitely recommend them. Now my kid likes going to the dentist.

As always we LOVE harmony I can not say enough how AMAZING the whole staff is from reception to dentist. I am SO thankful they have been the ones to help my little with his teeth. We had an issue with one of his baby teeth not wanting to come out and they managed to get it out before he even knew it. No fear no scary experiences. They are the reason my son will grow up in afraid of the dentist. Everyone is always so happy to see us they are warm and welcoming and accommodating. They are so supportive. Ugh. I can't say enough good things. Best dentist EVER!!!

This was a first appointment for both my kids so they had no idea what to expect. But as the appointment went on they became more relaxed had fun. In the car leaving they both said "I love the dentist!"

2020 My kids have loved visiting HPD since they were 2 years old. All of the staff members are so inviting and knowledgeable, the environment is kid approved, just a great experience overall. 2022 Today I told the kids they had dentist appointments and they were jumping up and down so excited. Love Harmony PD!

My kiddo tells me he "looks forward to" going to the dentist. Crazy, right? But you won't here me complaining. I'm a little jealous that they don't treat adults.

Treated badly by reception regarding insurance, reception also never scheduled kids' next appointment, and I was talked rudely to by dentist. Cute facility though

I only have good things to say about Harmony Pediatric Dentistry. They are so kind and compassionate toward my children and have a lot of amenities that cater to working with kids. My 3 and 6 year olds are huge fans of getting to watch a show while they get their teeth cleaned.
