Dr. Julie was born and raised in Korea, she relocated to the United States to pursue her love of dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2002 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, all while maintaining an outstanding four-year merit scholarship. After graduation she then went on to work as a full-time academic professor for four years at this prestigious dental school before transitioning to clinical private practice for the past 14 years. Dr. Julie moved from Michigan to Vancouver, WA in 2008 with her husband and two children.
Dr. Julie strives to continue her education and experience in the dental field. She works very hard to associate herself with the best organizations. She is actively involved in the exclusive Seattle Study Club, a group of specialists and general dentists organized to receive advanced training in leading edge clinical procedures and the newest emerging dental technologies. She is also a member of the Clark County Dental Society, the Washington State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. On top of almost 20 years of working in the dental field, She has also expanded her practice and education into the study and care of sleep apnea. Dr. Julie is an active member of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABSDM) and a diplomat of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr Julie also understands the connections between overall health and happiness, including the connection between looking good and feeling good. Dr Julie has become an associate with the conservative full mouth rejuvenation company BioClear, where she earned her Core Anterior and Core Posterior Certifications. focusing on dental restorations, by bringing a new dimension to aesthetics and function with cutting edge procedural advances. Dr Julie excitedly offers her patients the ability to get the smile they have always dreamed of.
A local transplant for over a decade, Dr Julie and her family continue to enjoy the many outdoor activities this unique area has to offer. Outside of her work and focus of dental health and care, Dr Julie also likes to focus on her overall health and fitness. She is an active runner, who completed her first full marathon last year after having completed multiple half marathons in the years previous. She likes to be involved in the local running community and was even a sponsor for a Hood to Coast charity team.
Dr Julie has a continuous drive to expand her knowledge and ability to help people, she strives to be the best resource that she can for her local community. She continues to look for ways to improve the health and happiness of her patients and bring the latest changes and advances in dental technology to the Vancouver area.
Seeing patients and being a part of something great are a few things that motivate her everyday. Dentistry is why she wakes up every morning ready for the day; its a lifestyle she is passionate about.
Jen & her husband are newlyweds who enjoy spending time with friends and family as well as adventuring around the PNW & traveling with their lovable pitbull, Eastwood, who they deem an aggressive snuggler! She also enjoys music and playing guitar in her spare time.
Heather obtained a Bachelor of Science Dental Hygiene Degree from Eastern Washington University after graduating from the Clark College Dental Hygiene Program. Heather loves getting to know her patients and gaining an understanding of what is most important to them when it comes to their dental experience and their smile. With a passion for dental hygiene, her goal is to provide the highest quality of comprehensive care to each and every patient.
Outside of the office, Heather loves being home with her best friend, Aaron, their two year old son, Henry aka Hank, their Great Pyrenees, Bucklee and kitten, Ellis Grey. As a family, they enjoy being out and about surrounded by their big family and crazy friends. Heather loves music, photography, and being outside in the country, at the mountain or coast, or at any river, creek or lake between.

Loved my first experience at Harmony Family Dentistry! Everyone here is super friendly. It starts at check with Angie, and continues throughout the office. I got my teeth cleaned by April, who has wonderful bedside manner, is gentle, and explains everything in detail. And gosh did she have patience with me. Finally, Dr. Julie is super personable, and really wants you to be well informed about all of your treatment options. I generally dread going to the dentist office due to severe TMJ pain, (holding my mouth open just hurts) but they have really allayed my fears. I will definitely return. My husband is also a patient here and has enjoyed his first appointment with them.

I have been to 3 different dental practices over the last 7 years and grew tired of the lack of customer service. Someone recommended Harmony Dental to me. I have had 3 appointments with them and can say I have never been to a more state of the art practice and the the staff exude customer service. I would like to recognize hygienist Tonja. She displays professionalism and sincere concern for her clients. She has been very patient in answering every inane question I have asked. I cannot recommend Harmony Dental enough. Professional, Empathetic and caring environment describe this practice.

Fantastic local dentist office with friendly staff. Dr. Julie knows her stuff and is personable and attentive. Finding a new dentist can be tricky, so I'm pleased to have found Harmony Family Dentistry which checks all the boxes on my list: in-network with insurance, close to home, friendly and gentle hygienists, attentive doctor, and welcoming atmosphere. I have gone to Harmony Dental for several years! Everyone is always so warm and welcoming and up beat! Dc Julie and her staff alway make me feel at ease and I'm a bit of a nervous patient! I would not trust anyone else! Due to job and insurance changes over the years I had to go to some other dentists and this is the place I prefer, trust and Makes me feel at ease! I have always had a very blessed and positive dental experience with Harmony Family Dentistry. I've been coming here for ten years and the staff has been welcoming and pleasant. I have always hated going to the dentist. I think that makes me normal! I found Harmony quite by accident one day because it's a few blocks from my home. I immediately felt comfortable. Dr. Julie is wonderful and takes time to thoroughly explain everything, and the hygienists are top-notch. No pain, not even discomfort. They have all the latest technology and use it well. No more fear! I can't recommend them enough.

Dr. Julie and team are excellent in all respects - they are informative, professional and helpful, as well as some of the friendliest people you could hope to meet.
